Stay for the live singers; leave before the American history show 8/7/2008

My family always loved seeing the various singing groups that would perform under the rotunda of the majestic American pavilion. (Watching the acts inside the building was also a great break from nature?s elements!) The pavillion?s actual theater show though felt a little outdated with overly stiff, mechanized figures taking you through a history of our nation. The story is also too complex a storyline in my opinion for the littler ones to follow. If you only have less than a day at EPCOT, see the singers, but skip over the history show. more

The centerpiece of this three-part ride is the 5.7-million-gallon, 27-foot-deep aquarium reef filled with dolphins, sharks, barracudas, exotic fish and sting rays. After a short film about the formation of the oceans, guests begin a simulated descent in a "hydrolators" to the ocean bottom. Seacabs shuttle visitors through a 400-foot tunnel that allows close-up views of the reef through 8-inch-thick glass. The ride ends at the Seabase Concourse, featuring hands-on presentations, displays and educational exhibits.
