I hired ETS (Robert Jones) on 5/13/09 to cut 4 trees in my yard. It was agreed that they would cut the burnable wood into fireplace length and leave the remaining brush for me to dispose of as I saw fit. They seemingly finished the job in less than 2 hours and when I asked, Robert requested cash as payment. I paid him and they went on their way.
I went outside and began stacking the cord wood and separating the brush. That is when I discovered a large amount of the wood had not been cut or had been only partially cut through. This was not noticed when we walked the job b/c of the cut brush atop of the problem areas. I called Robert and left a message with him on 5/13 and twice more on 5/14. He finally contacted me on the evening of 5/14 and agreed that he would be back out to finish the job on 5/15 or 5/18. Robert did not show up or call on either date.
I called him again on 5/19 and he agreed to come on 5/20 to complete the job. I called him at 6pm on 5/20 to find out when he was going to show up and Robert told me he was busy trying to finish up the job he was on and would be at my house by 9:30 a.m. on 5/21. At 10 a.m. on 5/21 I called Robert to find out why he did not show up again but only got his voicemail. At that point, I left a message stating that if he did not show up or call by noon with a good reason I was contacting the BBB and/or Don Dare's "On Your Side". ETS never responded to the BBB's attempt at a resolution.
