I go to Melanie, and she does a great job on my short hair--which is a hard cut to do. My whole family goes to her... She's great! The only thing I complain about is that I have to pay $27 to get my inch-long hair cut (it's the women's price...men pay $22), and when I get highlights, it's just as much as it would be if my hair was much longer! But, I am satisfied, and I guess they have to make their money somewhere! I never been to anyone else, but I would definately reccomend the salon. All the other women's hair looks great, so I'd imagine they do a great job, too! Also, unlike a lot of high-quality salons, it's really easy to get an appointment. I usually call a week before, but sometimes I get lucky and they'll squeeze me in the same day!
