EVERETT AND JONES BARBEQUE

The food is good but once in awhile you get the bad "meat" but its a great tradition to go here and enjoy all the foods. The price is ok but its seems a little too pricey for my but I would still go here and eat. There are many locations around the Bay Area and I like the one in downtown the best because of the wonderful people who works there. more

Everett and Jones BBQ is somewhat of an Oakland tradition. They have multiple locations throughout the East Bay, including one in Hayward and several in the city of Oakland. The Everett and Jones I went to is the one on Broadway in Oakland near Jack London Square. The restaurant itself sits in an older warehouse building composed of brick. Many of the tables have a view of the Broadway street scape. The atmosphere is good. The type of food served at Everett and Jones is typical Southern BBQ fare. Ribs and Fried Chicken are its staples. Overall, the food is above average; although some items can be too salty or spicy. Almost everything on the menu is under $16, which is cheap for the San Francisco Bay Area. The service, when I was there, was good. I'd recommend Everett and Jones to anybody who has a fix for BBQ in Oakland. more
