Excellent food! 7/15/2011

I have been traveling internationally for more than 10 years. Always found Daily Grill the best menu and worthy food in the Bradley Terminal (International Terminal). People tend to think airport food is bad and expensive. But let me tell you, this one is better than other restuarants in town and the price is surprisingly reasonable. You actually get real service in the booth. I always have my lunch or dinner before the long haul flight, especially these days you have to be there so early. A decent meal at Daily Grill is my reward. I have tried Idaho Trout twice recently. (It is just out of this world. It was so good that I even went to Daily Grill in Santa Monica and found that it is not as good as the one at the Airport.) Meatloaf is not as good as my own, but good enough. Hamburger is wonderful. Once you fly out, you won't have hamburger of that quality. So, overall, I would highly highly recommend to people who want to have a decent meal before leaving United States. It is not a fast food joint, so, don't expect the price and quality of a fast food chain. more

I can proof this restaurant committed a fraud! 9/23/2009

I'm happy to find other people had similar experiences about this restaurant stealing money from customers. Here's my story: The bill was $31.15 and tip $5.00 Total: 36.15 When I looked at my credit card statement, the charge was $63.15 I asked my bank to investigate this, and when I received copies of the receipts, I noticed the restaurant had added $32 tip, so that the total comes to $63.15 making it look like a typing mistake. My original receipt shows that I tipped $5.00 and in the other receipt (copy of which I received later from my bank) they had added $32 tip. So, this is an obvious fraud, no question about it., as they had even calculated that if they add $32, the total comes to $63.15 which would look like an entering mistake of $36.15. Stay away from this restaurant! Cons: Committed a fraud more

Watch for your credit card statement! 9/11/2009

When I reviewed my credit card statement, I was very surprised to find out that the restaurant had made a ""mistake."" Cons: Stealing Money! more

Expensive 4/14/2009

Not what you would expect from a Daily Grill restaurant. Unfortunately, the service is less to be desired, and our waitress was far from polite, rude. The tables were dirty, and left over food were on the floor When the food arrived, it looked like it was put together in a rush. The manageress, well let's say, young and inexperience, not knowing what she was doing, is she even old enough to be working in a licensed restaurant? She was running around like a headless chicken. Oh yes, you maybe able to catch a free show, especially after watching our waitress, Anna, kissing and hugging some male Hispanic person that looked like her boss, doing his rounds as if he was important. Drama at a restaurant, I could write a story about the ""Daily love affair at LAX"" My suggestion, before you fly, eat somewhere else, unless you want to pay for the entertainment. Henry Cons: pretty bad service more

Weak Link in the Daily Grill Chain 7/2/2008

While dining at the Daily Grill at LAX recently, I was reminded of the famous Bette Davis movie line, ""What a dump!"" Cons: Overpriced, tasteless food incompetetently prepared, poor quality service, poorly maintained decor - at THIS location. more

It is so sad to see a once very good upscale restaurant to being a wantabe. This Daily Grill location either need to fire its managers or do some major changes. more

Waste of time, money, and appetite. 9/6/2006

Food is absolutely terrible and overpriced. Sausage pizza tasted like it was microwaved with a breakfast sausage sliced up on top. Service is mediocre and atmosphere non-existant. My biggest complaint, however, was when I got my credit card statement back, the restaurant had added a $40 tip for themselves on a $20 bill. The only saving grace was the neighboring bar. I think they were associated with the Daily Grill, and the staff there were pleasant. For food though, look elsewhere. Pros: Neighboring bar. Cons: Lots. more

Bad customer service!! 8/31/2006

Terrible food, not the REAL DAILY GRILL. (Franchised) Pros: none at all Cons: get ripped off and verbally abused more
