Was hungry, was nearby, decided to give it a shot. Old, unappetizing, goopy pizza. Try Mama's Original around the corner. Way better. And I lived in NY for 23 years, and this is nowhere near good NY pizza. Period. Pros: Can order individual slices Cons: Most everything else more

For those east coasters craving NY style pizza, look no further! Love this hole in the wall pizza joint. They use the best ingredients, great prices and super friendly service. I no longer go on my crazy pizza binges when I go back to NY, since I found the Coop! Definately worth checking out. Pros: Super friendly, delicious Cons: No dining space, best for pick up. more

Great NY style pizza for an outstanding value. Friendly service. Two thumbs up! Great tasting sauce and crust, and they don't overload the pizza with too much cheese. I will definitely get this pizza anytime I order out. Pros: Great NY style pizza, great price, great service Cons: Parking is a little tough, no dine in more

This is hands down the best pizza in LA! Everyone that works there is super friendly and you can't beat the price. I only wish they started delivery before 5pm! more

Great NY Style Pizza 7/19/2006

Authentic NY style. Fresh dough and sauce and quality ingredients. I haven't had a bad pie in 30 years as a customer (over 1,000 pies). Friendly atmosphere and service. Great for a quick lunch, grab a slice 'n go. Sandwiches and dinners are reasonably priced and tasty as well. \r Take something home and enjoy a little taste of NY. more

honestly it is, dont take my word for it. get a Pie for your next movie night! Also it's got easy parking and their calzones are very yummy! Pros: NY style, great service, good flavor crust Cons: no seating area, delivery is a tad bit slow more

Hits the Spot 6/30/2005

The Coop provides good, basic NY-style thin-crust pizza. The flavors are rich but not overwhelming, and there's just the right amount of sauce and cheese. They only do take-out and delivery, so don't expect to eat there. When you get your pizza home, though, I suspect you'll be happy with it. Pros: value, quality Cons: no seating more

Best Neighborhood Pizza Joint! 5/14/2003

I love the food. I love the friendly crew. I love that its in the middle of my hood. Delicious authentic (I know you read this all the time but its true) New York style thin crust pies made to go. Also one of the last local spots where you can just stop in and grab a slice and chat with Joe about hoops or Cristy who always asks me when's the next time I'm bringing my mom around. Don't worry Cristy it will be soon, mom can't resist the Coop's pizza either! more
