The burritos are huge and worth every penny. Awesome enchiladas too. Pros: Parking, Food, Price Cons: Gets pretty busy on weekend nights more

chico's is the best 5/6/2006

This is the best mexican food I have found in los angeles. We eat here weekly. The food is fresh, made to order, and fantastic. It's a humble little place, but the service is always great. Their sauces are home made, and the salsa and guacamole is killer. Pros: fresh, tasty, inexpensive more

Amazing Mexican Food 10/25/2004

I have tried all types of Mexican food all over LA (Guelaguetza, Border Grill, Gallego Brothers, El Tepeyac), and this is some of the best and freshest I have ever had. The salsa and guacamole are rich and fresh. The tamales are not greasy at all, and the meat in the tamales and enchiladas is deliciously marinated. My achilles heel is the fried tacos, though; they are fantastic. The best thing of all is the price. My girlfriend and I got 2 tamales, 2 tacos, 4 enchiladas, 1 quesadilla, and a side of guacamole for $23! If the area was better and it wasn't such a drive from Venice, we'd be over there every week.
