Capital City Appliance Service

I have unfortunately had to deal with these people for well over a year now as they are the only service provider for Lowes in my area. To begin with their office staff is horrible. They are not polite or friendly. They schedule the appt whenever and don't take into consideration when it's good for you. They just expect you to make time for them. I didn't realize the company was more important than the customer apparently. They have been out to my home multiple times over the past year and a half. They have done the same thing every time they have come out to fix my freezer and the problem keeps recurring. Instead of trying to actually research and figure out the problem they just keep putting a band-aid on it and replacing the ice maker. Let's figure out why the ice maker keeps breaking (DUH!) They are out here about every 3 months (only because it's under warranty and I have to use them) and if Lowes didn't get a discounted rate for their services they would have officially paid more than 3 times what I paid for the entire refrigerator. This last time they were out Lowes finally said "If this isn't going to permanently fix the problem then call us and deem it unrepairable." It's always the same guy that comes on every call so he came out again and took a look and after asking him if it was going to be a band-aid or not (which we both knew that's all it was going to be) he said "I can't tell the future" and refused to contact Lowes all together to give them a report or close the ticket. I'm guessing he didn't want to have to give them that same lame excuse in case they asked him that same question that he obviously didn't want to answer. He wouldn't even give them any report at all so that Lowes could make the decision that it's "unrepairable" themselves. Not only have they been a shady and unknowledgeable company, but they are also just doing the bare minimum so they can keep getting paid by their "big box" customer. They are unprofessional and I HIGHLY recommend refusing their service/not using them. more

Warranty claim thru Lowes mandated I use this place. They call set up appt. Asked if I preferred morning or afternoon but no guarantees. I'd prefer afternoon if possible. Said they would call the day before. No call what so ever. I took a vacation day to be home. I call them that afternoon. Said they screwed up I would have to re schedule, they would not work with me on a time of day. Even though they screwed up. Only response that she had was should have called sooner. Hell of a way to run a business. Complaint already filled with lowes contacting LG and BBB. Would not recommend. Find a business that will work with you. Not this one. more

I was referred to them through a Samsung warranty. Terrible service and very rude people. They will waste your time and money!!! more

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I woman I spoke with, or should I say tried to speak with was crude and the perfect example of why customer service representatives are not respected. She continued to try to over talk as I was speaking and was trying to be very condensending but she couldn't even do that correctly. Do not allow them into your home and please let anyone you know or hear of needing appliance service they are not a company with which you want to do business. They are not dependable or trustworthy and it's a shame in todays economy with so many good people out of work, this companys personnel are receiving a paycheck for being horrible at their jobs. Shame on you Capital City and I will continue to share this information with the BBB and postings on all social media venues. more

This company has made three trips to my house to repair my washing machine over the course of 8 days and it is still not fixed. Initially the wrong part was ordered. The correct part was ordered; however, when they came for the third visit they decided they were unable to fix the washer due to it's location. They refused to move the washer away from the wall and claim that I need to hire a moving company. After 8 days and three trips from a repairman I am still without a washing machine. Bottomline - I would recommend avoiding this company. more
