My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding before leaving for our honeymoon. In all honesty, I wish would could have stayed longer--the rooms are so modern and clean! We did visit again for our first anniversary. It was so great to lounge around a king sized bed with luxurious bedding and take a bath in the double tub.

We stayed at this hotel on our wedding night. We were looking for someplace nice, that we would not usually stay that was reasonably priced. We were very pleased with the Great Southern. First the hotel is a landmark in itself and is beautifully detailed. Our room was fairly large and the bed was pillow top “Heavenly Bed” and very comfortable. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful and we also found their valet service very helpful. All in all, a nice stay.

This hotel is great for a business traveler or even a great weekend getaway hotel. I have stayed at both Hyatts in Columbus and this is the best one by far. The service is better, the food is better, and the rooms are MUCH better. This hotel also offers a Regency club which is a great upgrade value. There was quite a bit to do in the area too. We were also able to enjoy the largest Sunday buffet that I have ever seen in my entire life...WOW!!!
Pros: Shopping at mall , GREAT Service, Business Center

Loved the delicious chocolate chip cookies - taste even better after a long trip! Beautifully decorated lounge and suites. Suite really makes you feel at home with the enclosed bedroom and homey living room set up. Extremely helpful staff. Delicious room service too. Would've appreciated free parking.
