New patient in town….. 3/3/2011

Cindy Provided by Partner
I had an emergency the other day and was desperate to see my dentist. Upon him telling me that it would be 3 days to get in I went searching for someone that would see me immediately. Upon searching the internet I ran across the ad for The Atlanta Dentist Group - Dr. Padolsky. I called and they were able to see me within the hour. Once I arrived the staff and Dr. P were very professional and treated me like I had been their patient for years. I am very happy to have found a dentist and his staff that I truly like. I highly recommend this dental group to anyone searching for a new dentist. more

Atlanta Dental Does it Well 2/18/2011

I randomly picked Atlanta Dental in 2003 because I needed a cleaning and I saw their sign randomly when driving. Wow, did I luck out. For the first time in my life, the dentist accurately diagnosed why my gums were slightly swollen (I clench), which 5 prior dentists had me doing all sorts of odd treatments for infections that never worked (as we see now, I never had one). And talk about professionals who can explain why your mouth is doing what it is. I'm continually impressed with the emphasis on continual training both the Dentists and other staff in the office undergo. I'm also refreshed with practicality over preachiness that's rare in medical/dental professionals. When my wife's frontal crown needed redoing (from a prior dentist), they corrected the errors, then made sure they found a crown that matched perfectly and its been great since then! On a random filling, I had an odd reaction, they automatically diagnosed and fixed the situation using a special technique and it was gone immediately. I've recommended this practice to a number of friends (many of whom still go there), now I recommend it to you. more

Dr. Padolsky- Awesome Experience 1/17/2011

Dr. Mark Padolsky is one the best doctors I have ever met. Not only does he explains your problems as if you are a child, but also he is a brilliant surgeon. I had my 2 wisdom teeth removed and it hardly took 10-15 min, plus it was almost pain free. I would definitely recommend Dr. Padolsky to anyone. more

not exactly what you might be expecting 12/24/2010

Two things a dentist's visit is never supposed to be, a visit to your offices is--painless and fun. I have no idea how the staff manages to pull off the first, but the second comes from the personal attention given from the moment call to make the appointment until the time you check out, pleasant and witty employees who "pass the time of day" while taking care of business in a professional and expedient manner. While it may sound like a little thing, to a person waiting it means a lot to have a selection of magazines to fit a range of interests. And, of course, the quality of "finished product" is top of the line. more

Surpirsingly Excellent 10/27/2010

From the instant I looked for a new dentist online, I had a good feeling about this office. I was not disappointed during my appointment. I was nervous making this appointment. It had been a decade since my last dentist appointment, so I expected a lot of pain and some severe scolding. Additionally, I have encountered some severely condescending doctors and office staff since moving to Georgia, and I guess I expected more of the same. Boy, were my preconceived notions proven wrong! The receptionists and I joked with each other as I checked in. Then, the hygienist was extremely gentle and patient, considering how long it had been since my last cleaning. Finally, Dr. Padolsky reviewed my x-rays with me, and was very personable and friendly. I've never had a doctor go so far to make me a partner in my care; most have looked at my charts and x-rays, gave their diagnosis/opinion, and quickly left. I would not only recommend Dr. Padolsky and his crew to my friends and family in a heartbeat, but tell anyone who has been disappointed in their dentist to look no further! Make an appointment here! more

At Last- A Dentist I Like. 9/30/2010

Ricky M. Provided by Partner
I have been afraid of dentists ever since I was child. As a result, I have not seen a dentist regularly. This has lead to several emergency visits, but I have never found a dentist who really put me at ease enough to keep coming back. About one month ago, I damaged a tooth at work and knew I needed to me seen right away. My wife looked up dentists in the area where I work and found Dr. P. I had a lot of apprehension, but had no choice but to be seen that day. Upon arriving, I nervously told every person on the staff how afraid I was of the dentist. I was met with sincere reassurances that I was seeing a good dentist, and I was in good hands. When I met Dr. P. the first thing he said made me smile, even while in pain. When I told him that I have poor dental hygiene and I am afraid of dentists, he again put me at ease with his humor and straightforward manner- no guilt or stern lectures- I felt immediately relieved. After that procedure, I have since gone back for other visits. Each time I have been met with the same friendly staff, and competent care by Dr. P. I now have a plan of care that I look forward to following. At last- a dentist that I like! more

Dr. P and his staff are very caring. They focus on a whole body approach. He is more than knowledge in TMJ, expert is what comes to my mind. They made our 15yo daughter very comfort, that is a feat in it self. I would recommend them to anyone who asks. Thanks more

Going to the dentist just got easier 8/31/2010

I have avoided dentists for much of my life due to the pain they have inflicted upon me over the years. I went to Dr. P with an emergency, and I am very happy with the results so far. He explains everything beforehand, and he is genuinely concerned about pain control. I plan to continue with Dr. P for the long term, and I very confident in him and his team. more

Crummy, painful work at top prices 2/21/2008

I've had two dentists in my adult life. I never fully appreciated how good they were until I made the mistake of going to Atlanta Dental Group.\r \r I needed a crown. They demanded almost $1200 completely in advance, which should have been a caution. But I paid it and showed up on time for my first appointment.\r \r They had gotten the appointment time wrong. (I had brought the card they gave me so, yes, I'm sure it was their mistake.) I was put in a shabby room, rather dirty for a medical facility, with cheap (and in some cases broken) furniture. It was not private and I could clearly hear conversations in other rooms. The equipment malfunctioned. The dentist would leave me sitting in the chair while working on other patients. One time I was left covered with water from the malfunctioning water and suction device. I had to find some gauze to mop the water off my sweater and pants.\r \r The dentist botched the first impression so I had to undergo this rather painful process a second time. Then the second one wasn't right either, but they decided just to use it. The one-hour procedure took 2.5 hours. \r \r After I went home, the temporary crown was a terrible job and I kept chewing the inside of my cheek. When I went back to get the permanent crown, it was so badly made that the dentist had to put the temporary back in and send it back to the lab. The temporary was not adjusted correctly and I kept chewing my cheek.\r \r Third visit - crown was still not right. I began to suspect they were using a cut-rate crummy lab. The dentist adjusted it, once again working on another patient while I waited. I went home. It was not right and, just looking at it, I could see it was not the same quality as the crowns my old dentist made. \r \r Fourth visit - the dentist gave up trying to make the crown correctly and just ground off the opposing (healthy) tooth so that they fit better.\r \r My advice -- go somewhere else. Pros: Convenient parking Cons: Bad dental work in shabby surroundings at high prices more
