Arco Arena

We've taken our kids to a few shows here, Disney on Ice, that kind of thing. Those were fine, the sound wasn't much of an issue, and since they're moving everywhere you pretty much got to see everything that was going on. Concerts however, are just okay. I love music and will gladly see a concert there if someone I like is playing. However, the sound quality isn't great, and depending on your seating, you can have a terrible view. Parking is usually expensive, but that's to be expected. Staff is pretty good about keeping it cleaned up during events, especially considering 90% of the people there seem to be slobs who toss their garbage on the ground rather than walk a couple feet to a garbage can! more

Arco Arena is home to many special events throughout the year: concerts, ice skating, motorcross, graduations and children's shows, but the thing that Arco Arena is most known for is being home to our beloved basketball team, the Sacramento Kings. Kings games at Arco Arena have been sold out for the last several years, but tickets are easy to obtain from other venues. The arena is extremely comfortable and state of the art, and there honestly is not one single bad seat in the house. You can easily view the court from even the highest up most corner seats, and you are guaranteed to have a great time. The food is superb for an arena, and the offer gourmet fare from several vendors throughout. There is also a Sacramento Kings Team Store located in the arena. more

Are you a Kings fan? Sacramento has the best fans. The people give the game an excitement no other team has. Arco Arena is not only the home court for the Kings, but they also host concerts and other sports for colleges or high schools. Grab a beer and some hotdogs. You will have a blast. more
