AMA Skincare - American Medical Aesthetics

I have been going to American Medical Aesthetics for the past few years now. I went there to see if they could help me with my rosacea. And let me tell you they did!! I started seeing Laura for facials after that and she had made such a huge difference in my skin too! I will never go anywhere else again! The office is gorgeous, the people that work there are so nice and its just the best place ever! more

I had a great facial with Laura. I have had a lot of facials, but never by somebody so knowledgable. She was obviously very experienced-she quickly analyzed my dry skin, gave me an amazing mosturizing facial. She was then able to recommend products that have made an amazing difference on my face. She also gave a great neck and shoulder massage-i will be back soon! more

American Medical Aestetics is awesome. I go there once a month for a facial. The Staff is always personable and provides individual one-on-one attention. Also very accomodating and flexible in scheduling needs that I have. Everything is State of the Art, and there is an emphasis on finding the next best way to service their clients. Laura's facials are incredible. She is always concerned with getting the best results for me, and is constantly changing and upgrading my facial to occomplish that. She is also very generous with her time and talents. She never hesitates to add a little extra service, like cleaning up my eyebrows etc. And a shoulder, neck, and arms massage is alway a part of the deal. Great place. more

I went for my first facial at American Medical Aesthetics two weeks ago. I had the greatest experience. The staff was very friendly and professional. I had a facial and microderrmabrasion with Laura. My face looks better than it has in a long time. My skin feels really smooth. Laura is very knowlegeable and is great at customizing the facial for individual skin needs. I will be back soon!! I started going to AMA over 2 years ago before my wedding to see if they could help me with my rosacea and after only one laser treatment and facial from Laura I saw a big difference in my skin. I felt beautiful on my wedding day!! Since then I've been going regularly and my skin is the best it's been. I get compliments on it all the time. Before I went to AMA i tried every other thing I could from dermatologists to Sonya Dakar herself. Nothing even came close to the benefits I've seen from facials and treatments at AMA. Laura is a master facialist and a pleasure to visit. She knows how to pick the right products that really work for me and help maintain my skin long after I see her. I just recently moved from LA to DC, but I almost didn't make the move because it meant having to give up facials with Laura!! Over the past 2 years, Laura has given my skin a complete overhaul. With monthly facials and the new skin regime she recommended, she has utterly transformed my skin. I used to get terrible breakouts and the texture of my skin was not good (to say the least!) but now I get compliments on my skin on an almost daily basis. I cannot say enough good things about Laura - she is such a perfectionist and will not let you leave until she is 100% satisfied - it's not often you encounter anyone like that in this world! I have sent a number of friends her way since I started with her, and they are all just as obsessed as I am. I will not let anyone else touch my skin now, but the problem with that is that I live across the country! Laura will always be my first call when planning any trip back to LA. I went to AMA to work on my hyper pigmentation and lines. After 2 Silk Peels I have seen major results. In fact I had gone to Sephora to buy some wrinkle cream and the salesperson said "" Oh, you don't need that yet!"" The place is clean and very relaxing. Laura my aesthetician is professional and knowledgeable. She really cares , it not just a job for her. My skin feels smooth and soft. The equipment they use is top notch. I especially like the collagen building light machine. more

I have so much to say about American Medical Aesthetics I don't know where to begin! First of all from the moment you walk in there the staff makes you feel right at home and I love them all!! They get you prepped up for your laser treatments while relaxing in the most amazing massage bed EVER and afterwards you must get in the oxygen chamber and relax some more. I have found that the staff, which I love and Dr. Pien and Asher Milgrom, I also love they have made this is a retreat for both women and men to come and get beautiful.\r \r \r I have a calendar called 45 and Fabulous and I would have to credit my youthfulness to AMA.... ladies RUN don't walk to American Medical Aesthetics .... I am so pleased with AMA that I fly in from out of state to recieve their superior service! I first discovered AMA while I was on vacation and was so impressed with their beautiful office and welcoming staff that I decided to get a treamtment done right there and then, and have been coming back ever since. Their staff continues to educate me and keep me informed about new procedures and they always keep me coming back for more! I have had excellent results from the laser hair removal, vein treatments and sun spot removal on my face, I wouldn't recommend anyone else but AMA! American Medical Aesthetics is the answer to all my beauty prayers under one roof. They have truly stopped the clock on aging and even reversed it for me. There is so much confusion about what works and what is real but AMA is the only place I put my trust. This is not some spa with a few gadgets making false promises - this is a real, medically supervised facility with the beautiful and sweet Dr. Alice Pien at the helm. I started out seeking help with some sun damage and now see the staff regularly for broken capillaries, laser hair removal, anti aging treatments and facial firming to name a few. You would never go to a second rate brain surgeon - why would you go to a second rate laser center? Pros: Dr. Alice Pien is the most caring and knowledgeable specialists and the equipment is top notch state of the art Cons: not one to speak of more

I have been to AMA several times. The professionalism, quality of service and environment is unparalleled. The medical instruments they use are state of the art; the skincare products are terrific and the staff is well trained. My favorite treatment is the medical facial. I have the luxury of going to some of the best spas in the country with clients (so my company covers the cost) and I have to say that American Medical Aesthetics offers hands down the best facial I have ever had. Airplane travel is obviously hard on your skin and I have to say that my skin has never looked better. I attended a soiree in Newport Beach for the American Medical Aesthetics for the sole reason of educating myself because I was very curious how laser technology can holistically rejuvenate and treat your skin. A friend of mine who is getting her skin treated there was absolutely satisfied with her results (program for acne scars) and mentioned to me this presentation they offer to those interested so I jumped on the opportunity, the wine and cheese soiree was a good incentive to go as well. The man who conducted the presentation, Asher Milgram, was very thorough, detailed, and informative as to how the laser treatments can enhance your appearance and make it healthier at the same time. The beautiful ladies, nurses and staff, were very courteous and professional when going over the paperwork. Before this soiree and free trial, I had no idea how this advanced technology could be used to my benefit, but without a doubt American Medical Aesthetics is an outstanding company that provides many amazing services. I grew up in a much cleaner environment than Los Angeles, in terms of the air and the water, and never had any trouble with my skin until I moved here a few years ago. Since then, it's been nothing but breakouts, general spottiness, uneven tone, discolored patches... I got intrigued by an ad I saw a while back in Image magazine and decided that a free 'consultation' at this place couldn't hurt, all I had to lose was a half hour of my time. I was extremely impressed. I'd been feeling like having any kind of procedure done on my face would just give me a different reason to feel self-conscious about my skin, which was definitely not progress. But after taking care to really tell me about how the processes work, I felt really comfortable having my acne and sun damage treated, to fantastic results. Best of all, the issues I started having almost immediately after moving to LA haven't started creeping back in. I have my face back! I got a great facial, and am looking forward to learning more about some other kinds of medicine they offer, like oxygen treatments. I was most impressed by the personal care I received (they remembered me, and I felt important), but a close second was the fact that they're really not a one-trick-pony pushing some miracle cure-all treatment. They really regard their various technologies as tools and took a lot of time to get to know what I wanted, as well as making sure I knew what I was getting. I originally came because I was interested in doing laser hair removal and something to even out my skin (take care of some acne breakouts). The minute I stepped in I just loved the space, and the people were so warm and friendly. Definitely didn't have the stiff, sterile atmosphere of most doctor's offices. I had a consultation with the doctor (who was really knowledgeable, thorough and sweet) and decided that I definitely was going to get laser hair removal done. Was so sick of paying to get waxed every month. She suggested I also consult with Laura, the aesthetician there. Laura was so genuine, kind, helpful, and understanding. I scheduled a facial with her for the next available, and it was amazing. By far the best facial I've ever had! Since then I am getting more and more hairless (which I love) and my skin has improved significantly since I've been regularly seeing Laura. I recommended her to all my friends (who now are addicted to her facials as well). Anyone with any skin issues, or just wants to improve their skin and look healthier and younger, should definitely visit this superb facility. American Medical Aesthetics is the best laser results I have ever experienced. I had very sun damaged, blotchy, broken capillary skin. I have tried photo-facials, IPL, Genisis and micro-dermabrasion and only CP5 evened out my skin tone, reduced my pore size, removed all the broken capillaries, sun spots and over-all improved my skin greatly. I am 52 years old and look much younger due to Dr. Pein @ AMA. All the staff is exceptional, caring, informative and the facials are also the best I have ever had. A good friend of mine referred me to this medical practice. I had been considering doing something to improve my skin. I'm in my late 20s and starting to see some of the effects of all those years in the sun (sun spots, pigmentation, discoloration). In addition, I have suffered for years with cystic acne and as a result had some pitted scarring. I finally decided to bite the bullet and make an appt. The space was beautiful, everyone was so friendly, and the consultation was very thorough and informative (and free!). I subsequently had several laser treatments and have had fantastic results. I've never had skin that I felt confident going out without makeup on, and now I do. I had very enlarged pores which made me self-conscious. My skin is smoother, my scarring has greatly reduced, and my overall tone and color of my skin is much improved and more youthful. I am so happy I took her advice and came here for treatment.
