I spoke with Velocity Moving at length about my move and was told that I would only be charged from pick up to drop off but not additional travel time. The estimate I received had 2 hours of travel time for a distance of 75 miles, clearly a one way estimate. Yet AFTER the move was complete, I was told that i would be charged for an ADDITIONAL 2 hours of travel time back (almost $200 more!). I spoke to the manager who told me she was sorry that the sales rep made a mistake but they would not honor their word and would still have to charge me for an extra two hours. I would NEVER use this company again. Moving is always a bit stressful, and this company, and particularly the manager I spoke with, made my move an even more stressful experience.
