Businiess name:  Transcend Salon

Review content:
Bob, the owner of Transcend is a great friend, and there is a reason why there are 62 5-star reviews. Transcend is a way of life, a religion, a cult, and a theme park all rolled into one. If you want a genius to cut and color your hair go to Transcend. Think about going to Transcend like getting your haircut by Salvador Dali. Salvador Dali would make his priority making each customer's hair a perfect work of art. Same with Bob. He would not care how long it takes, he would spend hours with you if necessary. Same with Bob. Salvador would offer you delicious fruits and teas and exotic snacks while cutting your hair, making strange pronouncements and inappropriate jokes about the state of the world while telling you his surreal personal philosophy. Same with Bob! And unlike Dali, Bob's masterworks are Affordable. He truly wants to grant people access to a world-class haircut. He prefers having his family around him in his Salon (think ""Cheers"" bar set somewhere between Paris, Rome, and Tehran) than working for celebrities or seeking to make his brand into the next big thing. And Bob's background in color-theory and engineering make him a Jedi-Knight of style and color. His work and insights into hair can be stunning. The secret to enjoying Transcend it to understand that Transcend Salon is a family, not a business. When your Grandma makes cookies, you sit and have a cup of tea with your Grandma. You talk to her. She's not on a timetable. You forget about those mundane things, you relax enjoy, and just feel happy that you know someone who makes the best cookies in the world. Is Grandma crazy? Yes. Is Salvador Dali Crazy? Yes. Is Salvador a master-artist and a genius and will he make your hair look amazing and spend hours and hours on you doing it? Yes. Will he be on time? No. Does he care about his work and have a heart of gold? Yes again. So make Transcend Salon your family. Adjust your expectations about ""time"" and ""business."" (Always call before you leave your house to see if Bob (who is a genius and an artist and a friend) is running on time. If your appointment is at 1 and you live nearby, call them at 12:30- and ask when to come in, they will say 2, at 1:30 call again to make sure, and if they still say 2, show up at 2 and your haircut will probably start at 2:19) It would be great if everything ran on schedule- but that's just not how it works. This is Art and Love. Set aside your day, be open to new experiences, and go see Grandma. She loves you and so does Transcend Salon. Pros: price, quality, value, uniqueness, star-power, cool-story
