having lived in Los Angeles from 1997-2005, I can say La Terraza is in the ballpark as far as tasty, authentic Mexican food goes. Very good refried beans & rice, which in my book is a must. Salsas & guacamole were fresh & tasty, and ""sauced"" dishes like enchiladas & chile relleno were on the money. My one big gripe is that all the meats were WAY too dry. My carnitas were tragically un-moist, as were the chicken fajitas and grilled T-bone. The grilled chorizo, however, was great. Shrimp were good too, so there's hope. Friendly staff and friendly ambiance make up for the strip-mall location. I'll be back again, I'm sure.
