Terrible experience. As in, the owner just hung up on me. I didn?t raise my voice at any point, did not curse, I didn?t lose my temper. It is so important during this season of life to choose businesses that you can count on and who are considerate. Belle Saison was neither. From beginning to end, working with this business made my bridal experience a nightmare. I bought my first dress, which was not a special order, there because my mom pressured me, as well as two veils. They refused any store credit, (nor any consolation). I special-ordered a second dress there because they offered me a discount, and the dress came in the wrong size, which they would not admit nor offer any apology of any kind! As I try on this dress, the lady breaks the clasp off, and the lady tells me I must have gained weight and to get my seamstress to fix it. I left the store with a broken dress and no apologies whatsoever! (But they did compliment my engagement ring, that was the only thing they did say that was somewhat consoling?) I have not wanted to throw a fuss because I am just exhausted from wedding planning. I called the manager today to let her know I was unhappy for the first time, and she would not let me get a word in edgewise. She told me I was a bride who ?just wanted everything her way? and ?would never be happy?! ....I seriously had gotten maybe four sentences in. She was raising her voice much more than I was, and I was just shocked that she would tell me she had done me a favor by giving me a discount on the second dress. Too exhausted to handle this, my co-workers are calling the channel 7 on Your Side and are going to help me. Planning the most important day of your life shouldn?t have to be this stressful! I?ve heard good things about Serendipity and Melange Bridal. And if you?re interested in a size 6 dress, let me know because I have an extra one to sell!
