Ricks Antiques is a huge beautiful old building (next to the Lafayette Antiques School house right off the Hwy in the middle of town). As soon as you walk inside it will take your breath away! Wall to wall beautifully hand restored antique furniture that I believe he ships in on crates from England, and Europe area's. I bought several pieces that we personally restored there and they were exquisite. Right down to installing the correct original handles and such. No matter what you are looking for he has it. Dining tables, entertainment centers, gorgeous bed sets, hall tree's, clocks, you name it. There is no skimping here, just beautiful high quality furniture! I will say that the price may seem high but if you have shopped for true antique furniture then you would understand what you are paying for. Ricks prices are great for the quality of work that is sold here. Also lots of parking too...and don't forget to visit the antique schoolhouse next door!
