I've been a happy Unique customer for 10 years - that is until the last 2 or 3. Boy has their service and reputability disintegrated. You used to be able to trust them and they stood by their work...not any more! Furthermore, if a technician DAREs tell you the truth, they'll not be working there the next time you call. \r
We bought a HVAC system 5 1/2 years ago and 5 months later we had our first cooling failure, pan overflow, and leak through the ceiling. Since then the exact same issue has reoccurred once a year (including the ceiling leak). Each time they'd blame something new. Two of the more honest techs told us the unit was installed incorrectly, without proper duct work and with inadequate drainage - both "disappeared" from the company shortly thereafter. The most recent one indicated he agreed but told us he could not say anything bad about the company or he'd be fired like many others before him.\r
