As a previous employee here, I can say that some of the staff here may not be as caring as they should be. However, much of the staff cares and is very hardworking. Also, some of the issues are doctor related and not staff related as there is one doctor covering nearly 70 patients. Often times they are short staffed as well, making it difficult for nursing assistants and nurses to provide as much care to each resident as they would like. I feel that while the staff giving direct care to the patients is usually very caring and attentive, there are managerial issues that affect care more than anything. I think there have been some positive experiences and some negative among residents, and it definitely depends on which staff you meet. Ultimately I wouldn't send a family member here.
