After reading numerous reviews about this place, it is finally clear to me that they are owner written as I have been deeply disappointed in the food quality of this place. Do not go to India Cafe on Fridays for lunch. I had tried them twice on a Friday for lunch and have both times been disappointed in their quality. I have tried their lunch wagon and the food there seems a lot better quality than what was served at the restaurant. The food on Fridays for lunch tasted old and regurgitated. It was very gravy-train with little solids in it. It may have been that we got what was left over scrapping the bottom of the pan since we tasted what appeared to have been the black-charred remains at the bottom of the pot.
I called our waiter to show him what we were experiencing and he said he'd give us a discount coupon for our next visit. Well guess what? We weren't planning to come back. I would have thought that we would get a discount on our current dinner mishap instead of a future dinner here.
