I probably shouldn't admit this online but I am completely gray, and have been since I was in my late 20s. So I have been coloring my hair for many a year now, and it was with some trepidation that I went to Sprout for an ""all over"" new hair color. I went from blond to a light auburn, and have been really happy with the results. At first I was afraid that the all organic products would fade faster than conventional color products. I was happily surprised that there was no more fade with the organic product than with conventional. Also, my hair feels healthier, and the color process doesn't smell as bad. All in all, I highly recommend Sprout to anyone who wants a great cut and good color. Rachel is a doll, and so highly committed to her vision of a ""green"" salon, that her passion is infectious. So, all you middle age gals with more gray than you want - don't be afraid to go green! You'll be happy that you did.
