Having just moved to the neighborhood, I thought I would try an Organic salon, which is inline with my philosophy about beauty products. I had bleach blonde hair, which was really really bright when I walked into the salon, and wanted to step down to a sandy brown. I choose the color from the swatch book, along with my stylist, which was NOT an unreasonable color (some people want to go from black to blonde or blonde to bright red with highlights which is not possible in one sitting).Anyway, despite my pick being totally do-able my hair turned grey because it was not left on to develop. The stylist meanwhile was going on and on about how she trained in L.A. at Paul Mitchell studios and how she knew all this edgy techniques, and blah blah= I was not impressed because my hair was mother (insert obsenity) gray. Seriously? I am in my young twenties, I want to look hot honestly, and I had gray hair. The stylist realized the color looked like something out of a $3.99 Walmart special and tried to save it, to no avail. Oh, then charged me 200$ which I paid (because I am clearly a pushover).
Pros: Nice atmosphere, interesting people to look at, really
Cons: Ugh the lack of skill and the ego just made me vom a little
more
