I had not had a pet since growing up on a farm and well, we didn't take the barn cats into the vet. We lived in Millis at the time, and had numerous guinea pigs and the kids came home with a stray kitten. We brought the kitten into one of the vets, and had a check up and shots. All the kids had to go, so we had four of us, one kitten, and the vet in the little room. It was sort of comical really. They were great with Chloe, the cat, who was very nervous - she had lost her mother - and was living in the wild with 2 other kittens. She was terrified to go outside all the time we had her due to this, so car rides were horendous. The vet was great with the kids, and explained that her mother must have been an inside cat, since she did not have worms. Great first visit for the kids and the cat!
