The Brasserie reminds me of a movie set. It is crowded, noisy, and expensively constructed. It is designed to give off a hot swank restaurant feeling, but there is little substance beneath it's flashy exterior. A lot of fuss has been made about the architecture, but I found it to be odd and less than comfortable. The food is presented beautifully, but it's not extraordinary and doesn't justify the high price tag. And the place is so loud that you can barely communicate your waiter, let alone your date. If you still feel the need to go, be prepared to shout.
