Haircut and Color 5/19/2011

Precious was fantastic! She listened to me as I wanted to do something different with my hair with color made recommendations and was amazed and happy when she was finished. I made an appointment with her again for fear she will get booked up quickly! Only feedback is the processing area needs to be tidier with tons of old torn magazines, tables between chairs should be wider to help with that - just a bit messy but didn't matter to my hair! more

Massage service 5/15/2011

I have been getting massage service for almost a year now. My therapist, Tricia, is excellent. Tricia is a holistic practitioner. Her care is very good for my health. Massage sessions do not start and end. Tricia provides recommendations for aftercare and maintenance care of my body. more

Great Service 5/9/2011

I needed my haircut fixed (from another hair salon) and felt desperate. I walked in the door and was served immediately. The stylist did a great job at fixing my haircut. I would go back to her. more

If you are looking for a great experience while you are getting your hair 'did' - Veda is the place! From the moment you walk through the door - you are greeted by friendly staff. Then you are wisked away to the 'shampoo room' - complete with flickering fireplace (try not to fall asleep while you get your head and neck massaged). And don't forget the top notch stylists who can work majic on any hair and walk out feeling like a million bucks. Love the new location - close to shopping and the interstate. Might as well grab lunch and do some shopping while your hair looks FAB. LOL ;-) more

My experience at Veda always exceeds my expectations. I am always pleased with how respectfully and cheerfully I am greeted by the staff. They always accommodate me in the last minute and are always smiling and welcoming. I especially appreciate Summer's work and how meticulous and precise she is. I don't mind paying this much if I get better care. yesterday and I have VERY mediocre shampoo, and no hand massage. I was asked if I wanted one, said YES of course, and then nothing. Don't know why, it wasn't busy at all in the shop. The assistant assigned to me was very substandard. more

Kelsey is always a pleasure. I love how she does my hair. Also, the remodel looks great. Love to have my hair washed and a scalp massage in a more relaxing area with no traffic. more

There needs to be more people answering the phones AND assisting customers in the store. The long hold times (7 minutes 28 seconds....oy!)put people off and someone like me, will just hang up. Going into the store isn't much better. Some of the girls just hang about, gossiping and laughing. You are not there for a social outlet. You are there to provide killer customer service and to uphold AVEDA's mission. Be kind to those of us who may not be 20 years old, are not 100 lbs and who do not look like models. That's not what AVEDA is about. more

Hair cut with Linsay Kuklish 4/28/2011

I alwasy enjoy getting my hair done by Lindsay. She is patient with vague description of how I want my hair and she always takes time to provide styling tips. I would have rated my experience a full five stars, but unfortunately as is the case with most of my visits, the staff at the front desk are not overly friendly. There greetings are short and unemotional, and they seem more interested in discussing their personal lives then be friendly with the customers. With the exception of Elizabeth, I have found most of the staff at the receptionist unprofessional and immature. more

Great haircut but shampoo area lighting is a problem 4/28/2011

The shampoo area is nice, a bit far from the stylists, but it's nicely done - except for the lighting directly over the seating. The spotlights are positioned right underneath the seating. So when you recline for the shampoo, you look directly into the spotlight. It was so uncomfortable experience, I had to shut my eyes the entire time I was being shampooed. Dimming the lights will not improve the spotlight in the eyes situation. Haircut was great though. Thanks...klp more
