I usually go to the Veda on North Academy, but they were booked. This location has more natural light, which was nice. Also, it was less crowded feeling. I was impressed with how quickly and expertly Bobby cut my hair. Thanks! more

Kellie Sue Johnson at Nevada locale now, She has Always been one of the most professional People I've ever encountered ..to me...she is "veda" She's awesome at what she does and she does It with grace! Luxurious! 4/20/2011

My favorite part of going to Veda is the wonderful way I'm welcomed, the absolutely incredible head massage during the shampoo/conditioner part, and the relationship I have built with my stylist (or hair artist, as I like to call her, because that's a more accurate description of what she does). I get compliments on my hair quite often and people usually ask where I get my hair done. I am proud to say, Veda Salon. more

Massage 4/7/2011

I had a 90 minute massage today and it was great. The massage therapist was very good and it was a very relaxing and an enjoyable day. It is nice to enjoy the whirlpool, sauna and steam room afterwards. more

Wonderful pleasure 4/3/2011

Customer service is a focus. My massage therapist engages on an individual, personal level. The receptionists are robots for the most part. On occasion one of them remembers from one visit to the next and will comment on a tan, or change in appointment times. more

Unfortunately I experienced a number of issues with my last visit. There seemed to be much confusion. My appointment time was made; I received a reminder call for the incorrect date, confirmed the correct date and time. Arrived for my appointment and waited nearly an hour. I had the worst make up application. Very embarrassing. I honestly think my adolescent son could have done a better job. Then it was on to my hair cut. The cut and style was excellent however, due to some confusion I did not get a deep conditioning treatment that I had requested as I was told, "We are tight on time and I would need to come back at a later date to get the treatment." No thank you! This was not the kind of service I had come to expect at Veda Salons. Very disappointed. more

Favorite Stylists 3/24/2011

My overall experience is dependent on two things. 1) My stylist knows and understands my hair texture, nuances, etc., and cuts my hair based on that and the right style for me. 2) The shop is well-run, clean, and comfortable. Kelly Sue and Becky are my favorite stylists. I've been seeing them for years and years. Love them for their skill, expertise, and dedication to their profession. more

Ellen does a fantastic job on my hair. Beacuase it's so short I don't color it anymore and the white is coming in beautifully. She notices the way the different colors affect the way the cut looks and takes advantage of it. She listens to what I want. When I walk out I know that my looks it's best -- and people tell me it does! more

It has always been dissatisying for me, when speaking with receptionists: making appointments, paying out, asking service questions. It appears the receptionists have a "routine" in their speech and actions, rather than being personable and natural. more

In the process of expanding which is great since this location has a very small waiting area and salon. Only complaint is you STILL cannot schedule any coloring on the website. With my work schedule it's not always convenient to call. more
