Really fun time at Trinity 2/11/2011

First off I would like to say that some of the people on this website are really picky people. They are complaining about the service of the bartenders, and thhat the dance floor is packed, and the bouncers actually do their jobs. If you are saying this kinda stuff your not a very fun person and I would not enjoy going to a club with you. OK, Trinity is sweet. Very nice atmosphere. Lots of vip areas, and the go go girls are smoking. The drinks are a little weak but thats ok becuase i like to be able to drink my drinks. We were at Ambers and the drinks were soo strong we couldnt even drink them. We ate at The Metropolitan grill then headed out to a couple bars/clubs. Ambers was to stuffy not fun, more of a chill place. Supper club was empty. Trinity was really fun. Im a good looking military guy, and i was impressed with this place. more

decent club 4/2/2010

Bouncers are a bit beefy and rude. The main dance floor gets packed on Fri/Sat nite, and i didnt like the constant music changing, meaning the DJ goes from Electronic to Hip Hop in no time, a bit weird of a mix if u ask me. The drinks are not cheap, and very weak. The only smart approach to this place is getting in before 9pm hanging out for a while and grabbing your drink somewhere else nearby. Pros: fancy place, good looking people, no drama Cons: constant music changing more

Good place for a Friday 3/7/2010

Love it on a Friday night, avoid it on a Saturday. Drink prices are about the same as the other places i go, bouncers have always been great and friendly to me and my mates. There's a free before 11pm guest list you can sign up for on their site. Friday has good music in the bigger room but Saturday it's very crowded, drunker guys who aren't good with the word no - which is where the nice bouncers can come in handy, longer waits at the bar and long lines outside, make sure you get there before 10.30 to avoid them. Pros: Good music, guestlist, clean bathrooms Cons: Saturday night crowds more

horrible place 5/2/2009

The other 5 star reviews for this place are obviously fake, they are ALL from people with 1 review and some of them are all from the same day (4 5 star reviews on ONE day?) Avoid this dump Pros: leaving Cons: Horrible prices and people more

night in trinity 4/28/2009

is this always for night time? its trinity night club right? Hmmmmm... i dont think so... its for insomniac people... so guys better be here every night... ahahahahah Pros: trinity better Cons: best? more

Cheesy 2/23/2009

If you want to go to a club that's filled with people who think they're in a music video, full of dudes who have perfected the "drive by grinding," just haven't met your bottle blonde quota for the day, or think it's great to be surrounded by tourists or other folks who don't know any better, then by all means go to Trinity. It's too bad too 'cuz I actually like a lot of the DJs who spin here. I'd just rather catch 'em on the nights that they're spinnin' elsewhere. more

THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE OBVIOUSLY WRITTEN BY OWNER/STAFF 1/17/2009

Probably the worst bar experience I have ever had in my entire life. The main male bartender at the front bar is a pretentious P.O.S that I hope someday gets pulled over the bar and dragged outside into the streets. The club is pretty nice as far as the layout is concerned, the place appeared clean and the DJ in the front room spun very good tracks. The girl/guy ratio was actually very good but you need to get there before 10 because you'll get in free and if you wait until 11:30ish then you probably will not get in AT ALL if you are a guy. Overall it was a good nightclub experience and it would have been the entire package if that snooty buttstuffer bartender was fired. Pros: Free before 10, good girl/guy ratio Cons: MAIN MALE BARTENDER AT FRONT BAR more

Pretty Cool 11/30/2008

This is definitely a must try. I have been there once and cant wait to go there again. Really loved the setting of the place. Pros: Awesome ambience more

The Innermost Circle of Hell 10/30/2008

This place is the best place in the world--if you happen to be be a pretentious git lacking the common sense of a garden slug. The line is ungodly long, the drinks are overpriced and watered-down and the clientele...well, if you're as deep as a mud puddle and just as interesting, you'll fit right in here. Prepare to have tequila slopped all over you by girls whose only charms hang out of their shirts and vapid man-children without even those charms. Brace yourself to be trampled by the rudest freaks this side of a Klan meeting and cash in your 401(k) if you plan on having more than 1 or two drinks that you don't have to ring out of your shirt. I'd rather spend my night reading Scientology books while having my genitals beaten with a ball-peen hammer. All in all, this place isn't worth the time you've just spent reading this review. The only complimentary thing I can say about this place is that my hour there was the second most positive experience I've ever had in Pioneer Square. But I've only partied down there 6 or 7 times. My recommendation: you'll probably have a better time @ Earl's on University Ave. Pros: More than 1 bathroom Cons: Everything else more

Great dance club and bar for your birthday or other celebration! 10/10/2008

This is one of the best dance clubs in Seattle. The place has two different large dance floors allowing your friends lots of options. They play the latest music with packed dance floors that you can feel comfortable joining all throughout the night! The security is professional and efficient getting you in the door. People are required to dress fairly nicely, so you don't have the same sketchy feel as you do at other pioneer square dance clubs. The bar carries top shelf liquor at slightly lower than average prices for Pioneer Square. The cover is $10-15 on Fridays and Saturdays, so you may want to get there early. The club doesn't close until 3 AM on Saturdays allowing for more celebration with you friends. This is definitely a young professional 20s hangout. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun night out! Pros: Great music and lots of opportunity to dance Cons: Parking can be difficult to find later in the evening, take a cab! more

Clubwise: One of Seattle's BEST! 9/16/2008

If you're looking for an upbeat swanky club to get your party on you should def consider Trinity. For those accustomed to a nightlife of grimy, crowded, over-rated, under-aged, cheap, rude, and put your safety at risk venues than I can see why Trinity comes off as snobby to you. It is simply the best club in town, especially in the Pioneer Square area. It?s a legit business and upholds high standards unlike so many of the other clubs in the area that continuously close and open their doors. I?ve taken out-of-town and out-of-country visitors, thrown birthday parties, ladies-night-out, and partied just for the fun of it and it?s always been good times at Trinity. Never once have I been concerned about mine and other?s safety. Saturday nights are the best in my opinion, but guest DJs, bollywood nights, and other themed parties are fun too. Love the separately decorated rooms, two floors, and assortment of music; there?s always enough space to get away from the crowds if you need to and seating to rest your feet. And of course important for the ladies, the bathrooms are always spotless CLEAN! Def one of my fav clubbing spots!! Pros: upscale setting, sitting areas, clean bathrooms, professional staff Cons: parking more

Great for a night out! 6/9/2008

This place has three rooms, but there is really just one main dance floor, and it's always so packed on Friday and Saturday nights that you get pushed and shoved as people try to push through the crowd. It gets so hot in there that I need to go outside and cool down at least a couple times a night or I'll have melted by the end of the night. The music here is good and it's mostly Top 50 stuff. The "blue room" is the techno room and there are people dancing in there, but it's usually pretty empty. There is definitely a difference between the Friday night crowd and the Saturday night crowds. Some of the bouncers are rude and will try to find any reason they can to not let you inside. I've had friends who were forced to pay to get in even though they saw their name on the VIP list and they were there before 11pm. I've also had a friend who tried to get in with his REAL ID and was accused of using a fake and not allowed inside the club even though a policeman verified his ID. I've also had another friend who was kicked out simply because he was standing outside the bathroom waiting for me! It was early in the night and he'd only had one drink, so he definitely wasn't anywhere even near drunk. Bouncers have ruined the night for me more than anything else at this club. Pros: Good music, Busy on weekends, Young crowd Cons: Hot, Bouncers more

DONT WASTE UR TIME!!!! 5/14/2008

One of the worst clubs that I have ever been to. The staff was not very friendly and did not seem to know what was going on most of the time. The business has a online web site that allows you to RSVP but I guess they don't get that info. to the other staff that night. The inside of the club is just as bad as the outside. It is as if they keep it dark, not for the atmosphere, but so you don't see the holes in the walls. We came up from Houston TX to see the Seattle night life and this is deff. not it. Would never go again. Pros: decent dance floor (when it's open) Cons: very bad service and employees more

The Goods and the Bads 2/27/2008

The club was nice overall, the music was hot, and i love the crowd. The environment was great! However, the bathroom is gross, one of the worse i've seen. Most of the staff was okay, but this one bartender just totally ignored us one time. Every now and then the service just plain bad. more

Worth the time to visit 2/26/2008

While in Seattle recently I visited Trinity my first night there. I just thought I'd write a review to keep you updated. There are 3 rooms, not as big as they make it seem on the club's website but decent. The main room played top 40, hip hop, and mix. The blue room had house (not too crowded on a Friday night) and the third room was an asian themed lounge and the dj played hip hop there as well. NO rude doorman in my opinion but I did overhear one of them be rude to some other customers. I didn't have to wait long for my drinks and there was a $10 cover with $2 coat check. The main room was very crowded but I like it like that = ) Pros: good place to dance Cons: parking more

WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I WILL NEVER GO BACK... 2/16/2008

The staff was so rude. The service was slow, the bathrooms smelt, and only had one working toliet. The club itself was beautiful, and I liked the diffrent rooms you could go into, but it wasn't nice enough to make up for the people who work there. I wounldn't recommened it to anyone, if you want service and a friendly bartender go somewhere else, your not going to get it here. Pros: nice looking club Cons: really bad service, rude, short tempered, WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!! more

HORRIBLE service. STAY AWAY. BETCHY / attitudey staff. yuck. 9/25/2007

trinity staff is HORRIBLE.. rude, grumpy, stuck up... the line people aren't even close to friendly. rude, && grumpy would be a much better way to describe it. the bartender was a COMPLETE BETCH. i ordered a corona, she slammed something else on the counter, i asked her what was going on, she said they didn't have anymore corona's, they were all out, && that it would be $12. ( $12 for a mixed drink && the beer. ) i told her that i didn't want it, that i would rather have a heinekin, && she got even more snippy / stuck up / betchy. she put her chin up, sniffed, && started babbling under her breath, then like, grabbed the beer off the counter, && was looking for somewhere to put it. then she settled for slamming it down on the other side, then getting my heinekin, which she was totally snooty about, then also slamming it down on the counter. she acted like I was the biggest pain in the butt in the world or something, just cause i wasn't drunk enough to just go with what she was giving me. hello. if someone asks for something, && you don't have it YOU TELL THEM THAT. not try to like trick them into buying it. she was all butthurt that i asked for something else. of course, my luck, she ended up serving us all damn night. = /. in short, i will be sticking to venom. the door people are always friendly, as well as the people who let you in. the bartenders are nice, everyone is just great there. the only way i'll ever end up at trinity again, is if i get dragged in there. oh. && trinity's music selection is stupid. unless of course you want to listen to bon jovi, && journey when you're out getting your dance / party on. i hate when they play realllyyyy old un club like stuff. Cons: everything. staff. drink prices. bartenders. atmosphere. ewh. more

I had fun!!! 9/25/2007

I really had a good time at Trinity...I?ve gone a couple of times in the last few weeks. The up for it crowd and quality of DJ?s ensure week in and week out this is one awesome party! A KISS Radio DJ (Ii think his name was Victor...) headlined the main room. I arrived shortly after midnight and the party was already in full swing. GET THERE EARLY....there was a long line. I spent nearly the whole night in the main room, then went to the blue room. House is currently what I like for sound, and to hear it in one of my favorite clubs was a real treat. The tasty, funky and dirty beats were just the prescription I needed. I ventured back into the main room for a bit, and met some really cool people. The floor was rocking the whole night. Just as the crowd was beginning to flag a little, someone else started djing. His combination of party Techno and break beats was just the antidote! With his technical skills and the quality of music at the minute this was a truly excellent set. The staff was borderline on edge...but, I would be too if I worked with 1000 people every weekend. They are just doing the job they get paid to do?and that?s keep up party goes safe. I will continue to go to Trinity...it was fun. Pros: FUN PLACE,GOOD MIX OF MUSIC,NO SHADY PEOPLE Cons: DRINK WERE A BIT $$$ BUT WORTH IT more

Bad Service, OK Music, So-so Club 9/24/2007

My boyfriend and I visited this club on Saturday night and found the music to span from P.Diddy to ACDC. Huh? Club atmosphere is crowded which does leave you much room to dance. When my boyfriend and I started dancing on the outside corner of the dance area where there was no one, we were taped on the shoulder by the staff and he pointed in the dance floor which had no room. It seems that the staff is rude and we wanted to have some fun, so we left this club early for another one. By the way, if you forget your jacket at the coat check you are not allowed back in, so make sure you have your ticket on you......... Pros: Big Club Cons: Service more

Looking for a bumping club that guarantees a good time? Trinity delivers with hot people, great music, and friendly staff 9/2/2007

After mistakingly looking to club in bell town on the saturday of our labor day road trip to Seattle to visit a deaf friend of ours we were looking to go big on sunday. Luckily we saw the flier for the Sunday night labor day party hosted by playmate of the year Sara Jean. Sounded about right. We arrived before ten to avoid cover to a mostly empty club, but the party had just gotten started. Before things picked up we bs'd with the door staff and bartenders who contrary to past reviews were nothing but chill guys and treated us great, one of the bouncers even spoke ASL and introuduced our friend to a deaf promotoer friend of his. We got warmed up with a variety of drinks, all plenty strong and suprisingly well priced (5 dollar microbrew pints, 7 dollar long islands). The club itself feels like 3 spots in one, the dark classy chinese themed room with a large bar and good seating, the odd but entertainining blue room with a bar upstairs, and various upstairs conversation/VIP areas. Finally theres the large main dance floor with a wraparound bar. All rooms were playing the same music on a bumping sound system which played a big variety of great mixes throwing together everything from hip hop to old cuts to techno/house. The crowd was attractive and the dancing was awesome, there wasnt a dull moment from open to close. Pros: Hot people, great music, friendly staff, great layout, not to crowded Cons: none more

Editorial
  • The Scene
For those who like clubbing on a huge scale, the action peaks on Fridays and Saturdays when the largest dance area opens with its superior sound and light system. Other nights are quieter with the music limited to a small front dance floor and a lounge decked out in a stylish Chinese motif, complete with tapestries and an ornate wooden bar. Check out the tables made from antique Chinese checker game boards.

    The Draw
Fueled on Jaeger Bombs and Washington Apples, 20-somethings gather to gyrate and eyeball each other. Once passing the bouncers' dress code inspection (no hats, shorts, sandals or athletic gear), partiers can choose from three distinct club spaces, each featuring a different mix spun by a top DJ from Seattle or around the country.
