Tini Martini

I love this place. I went for the 1st time the other night and had a fabulous time with my girlfriends. They had the best music playing- old school fun stuff that made us dance! The drinks were strong and reasonable. The crowd was really good looking and everyone was having a good time. This is definately a fun place to come if you want to stay local and not have to go downtown. I think I might be having my birthday party here in a couple months, that's how much I loved the place- watch out Tini Martini, I'm here to stay and party! more

I just want to say I am so shocked about these reviews, I am new to Tini Martini scene because my hunting ground has always been downtown, and now that I have been hanging out near my house, I feel I have been missing out. Their staff is so diverse so that everyone feels comfortable, they are social n on their game, I like that they have two rooms on the weekends because it is always different, and instead of leaving the bar for a change of pace, you can just switch rooms, and the one thing I admire is unlike downtown bars, they don't call the second room VIP and/or charge a cover to go into the next room, its a go as you please zone, and that is cool in my book. I notice a comment by a person on here saying "bad drink Trap" just curious if he knows that at a certain time, the drinks go back to full price, so if you buy a drink at 10 and buy another at 11, its going to go up trust me, I go there for their 50% off drinks before 11, do your homework. Good job Tini Martini, Love your staff, GREAT BARTENDERS they always remember me and my friends and wat we drink... I appreciate all the specials you have,( cause im broke most of the time) and the greeeeeat music you play in each of your rooms, it is ether wats hott now, or music that brings back the memories that get me up and dancing. o.k. people.. here is the deal. (5 rules to follow) 1) the place is small..very small..They call it a lounge.. but unless you are a midget with one leg.. there will be NO "lounging" here. So get there early and find a corner you like. This is a neighborhood bar with couple of curtains and candles.. Not a "lounge". 2) stick to beer, because ALL OF THE HARD LIQUOR IS "CUT" (watered down)(and watered down BADLY) 3) stick to beer, because ALL OF THE HARD LIQUOR IS "CUT" (watered down)(and watered down BADLY) 4) stick to beer, because ALL OF THE HARD LIQUOR IS "CUT" (watered down)(and watered down BADLY) ....get my point?? 5) pay attention to what the bartenders charge you, because they make up prices as they go.. they will charge you $1 more for the same drink you just ordered 5 minutes ago. So if you don't pay attention... they WILL stick it to you some more. These things (cut drinks,shady pricing) aren't by accident.. this is just how this place operates. if you can deal with these 5 rules.. you should have a spectacular evening. Ive been to Tini Martini on a few occasions. Each time always a different experience but all in all pretty good! The music has always been my favorite part, which never seems to change and each time Ive gone there has always been good drink specials like martinis and shots. I would certainly recommend this spot for any kind of Saturday night outting. I also am aware of the fact that they have drink specials and good music other nights of the week too. I just might have to check it out on one of these days when I dont have a long work day the next morning :) Pros: Good Drink Specials!! more

This place is a joke. The only people that would write something good about this place have to either work there or know the owner. When he was pointed out to me my first thought was whats up with his hair? HA hA this place says no cover but thats a lie. its really trashy looking and dirty. the floors are awful! the bathrooms stink and flood with toilet water. and the downstairs smoking area looks like a place where people screw real quick. just completely gross! not to mention the downtown prices for drinks, which are totally watered down and change from bartender to bartender. if you leave a tip they change the price on the next round- so atleast that. But it doesn't help. it makes me feel like im paying for something they know isn't worth it. i would be embarrassed to take anyone there or to be associated with that dive. We went on a whim for s**ts and giggles. Had a great time. The place is not dirty. Normal prices.... not too high. Great Music! Two completely different atmospheres when you switch sides (It's two clubs connected basically). Went on a Saturday the place was packed. I used the same bar tender all night and service was great. um this place is dirty, sticky,nasty with bathrooms that smell and dont lock right in the room. prostitutes and crackheads make it their local pitstop. manager/owner(but not really just a cousin of the owner) is rude and hits on everyone and starts fights with his clients.the drinks are an awful mess. never ever go there... its like a bad episode of cops. All I could say is"GHETTO"!!!!!!!!! The dj kept on playing the same music over and over, the people are rude and scrubby and gym shoes should not be allowed in any club whatsoever! I will never ever go back! Pros: None! Cons: Everything! more

Awful, seriously the worst place i've been to in a long time. I had zero expectations coming to this place, because I knew it wasn't in the best area. All I wanted was a decent martini and some good music. We arrived, got slapped with a $10 cover charge (who do they think they are???), which for girls included a manicur and 2 martinis. For guys it didn't include anything...Not only was the manicure station closed, but our martinis were very SAD...watery cranberry juice does not equal a cosmopolitan....you'd think a "martini ultra lounge" would pride themselves on making a good martini. There is mandatory coat check for $3 too, enforced by some giant bouncer that barks at you when you enter. Give me a break! Seriously, I will never go back and I've made it my mission to telle veryone how awful it is. Don't go there, awful awful awful. Pros: Street parking, that's about it. Cons: Watery Martini, mandatory coat check, cover charge, bad ambiance, bad location, awful everything about it more

I originally thought this was quite a nice spot to check out upcoming djs. Recently however, my friends and I were treated with great disrespect at this club. The staff was very rude and spoke in language very offensive to us. I would not return to this club ever. Also, very overpriced with poor service. You shouldn't have to wait 15 minutes to even be acknowledged at the bar when they aren't even busy. Do yourself a favor and bypass this stop on your way through town. more

I hate this place! This one of the few clubs in Logan Square, so I have gone there a few times to support various "underground" hipster whatevery nights. On more that one occasion I have been charged different amounts for the same drinks from different bartenders. When I complained the bartender told me he charged more because he put Stoli in it, when I did not ask for Stoli. Apparently you are supposed to say "Can I have a WELL vodka tonic?" On another occasion the Britney Spears esque bartender opened a tab for me and did not inform me there was a thirty dollar minimum, so I was forced to buy more drinks at the end of the night. If you are going to try and be upscale, then treat people a little better! And I'm sorry, this is Logan Square, not Rush street. I can do without the attitude more

I'd like to support Tini Martini just because of their Koncept nights that they have every other Saturday, but this place is competely unprofessional. The service is bad, slow, and rude; unprofessional. The drinks are weak, bad tasting, and very pricey. I bought a cosmo that had no vodka in it whatsoever. The manager (who is also a bartender) asked someone if he wanted to "take it outside" when he complained about the weak drinks. The manager. It take forever for the bartenders to get your drinks. This whole place is a big, big joke. Pros: Music Cons: Service, Bad Drinks, Pricey more

This place is so much fun! They offer a delicious and creative martini list. It's definitely a great place to meet new people, as well as a great place to relax with friends. more
