Find another mechanic! The first time I went to Tidwell Auto Service and had good service at what I felt was a reasonable. The second time I went in for service Tidwell did not hook up a brand new radiator correctly and my wife ended up stranded on the road in an unsafe position in traffic. I left Tidwell the car over night again and demanded on their key drop note that they call me. They never called and when I called them late the next day to find out what they were doing to make the situation right, they never even apologized for screwing up the car in the first place. They caused us to be stranded, we spent half a day rescuing the car, and made two trips to their shop to get the car fixed?. Not even a simple apology! I don't know about you all, but a simple apology can make a customer at least feel a little better about an honest mistake. My advise is, to find somewhere else to take your car. The mistake they made was very avoidable and any simple mechanic should not have missed it (radiator clamp). The lack of apology is personal. Save yourself some aggravation and go to another garage.
