The repairs were completed successfully and the technician was professional. I was presented with the likely charges on site prior to the repairs occuring...it was very expensive...

Furnace check up and filter changes 3/18/2014

Yusef, was was there on time and very courteous. Even though I told him didn't need to put those covers on his shoes ..he did anyway ..because he said he didn't want to get my house dirty. My Mother would have loved him.. He did all the checks and changes to the furnace and removed all debris after...he spent time to inform me about all the work he preformed and answered all the questions I had .. He also made me aware of some addition products that the company offers ..and the value of it's function.. Yusef, is someone who does a great job of representing his company ..... he is a very valuable asset to his company.. imo more

Harry Ogg Boiler Technician 3/3/2014

Harry was everything you hope a technician will be. Called ahead to confirm the appointment. Discovered the problem quickly. He had the correct replacement part and installed it without any difficulty. Explained why a service agreement would be helpful and save us money. After discussing it with my wife, we agreed to purchase the service agreement. I don't know much about boilers and he went over the operation with me. He also helped my wife with some thermostate questions. All-in-all a great experience. I reccommend Thorton & Grooms and Harry to anyone. Tom Anderson more

Service Visit on February 25. 2/25/2014

Yusuf was very professional and offered explanations as he went along with the work involved with doing a furnace tune-up. In addition, he seemed to diagnose difficulties with expertise and corrected everything that required attention. A humidistat has had to be ordered, and a return visit within a couple of days will complete the assignment -- and when that is done, we will be back in order once again, having both our furnace and humidifier in good working order once again. We are pleased with our service and would welcome Yusef back at any time. more

Furnace Repair 2/10/2014

Our furnace was screeching and howling, so, we call Thorton & Grooms. They had done an overhaul two years ago. Brian came out the afternoon I called for service. He wrote up several options and was very professional, kind and understanding of our concerns and limitations. I felt very comfortable with his knowledge and expertise. We are going forward with a temporary fix until we can decide on and order a new furnace within the year. Thank you. more

Happy with professionalism that Adam conveyed the furnace actually malfunctioned when he was here and cleaned the flame ignitor and did a furnace tuneup for $98.00 since it was 9 years old and has not have anything done since inception. Overvall happy with result more

Ted was able to come to our home much sooner then I hoped for. He told me about the problem. I said I would wait ,well the wait was 24 hours. Just needed to get it done to save my unit. He is coming back in two days. more
