The repairs were completed successfully and the technician was professional. I was presented with the likely charges on site prior to the repairs occuring...it was very expensive...

Fast and Efficient Service\r Drew fixed my ""system malfunction"" in 5 minutes.\r Now I have AC again. Thanks for the excellent service. \r \r Drew did it again! Diagnosed the problem with my A/C which resulted in a pool of water on my basement floor.\r He repaired the loose connection and taped the pipe to prevent future problems. ""He is now a 10 minute wonder"".\r Thanks for your efficient and courteous service. more

Tom N. was the technician that helped me solve my plumbing problem. He was very courteous, friendly, answered all questions, and completed the work with the help of Chris. The work was done correctly and they cleaned up the worksite to my high standards. I will not hesitate to call Thornton & Grooms in the future for any plumbing needs. more

Too Late, We Got Your Money…\r Thought I needed to move a gas line so called Thornton & Grooms. Tech came out, told him I thought I needed a gas line moved. He inspected it and quoted $330+ to ""do the work"", screwed in the collar for a valve handle but did not open or move any gas line, was done in less than 10 minutes and left.\r The tech ""forgot"" to tell me that all he was going to do for $330 was turn a collar a few times because then I would have just paid him the service call and done it myself.\r What’s particularly frustrating is that the tech’s service report shows what he did, and it took 2 calls to the office before they even looked at the report.\r Then their response to me was that it was ""too late"".\r I have run into bad techs in the past but their company’s management has always made it right.\r Thornton & Grooms seems to know they have dishonest techs and they take advantage of it.\r I would recommend AGAINST USING Thornton & Grooms.\r more

Gas Line Leak Fixed! 11/22/2011

Thornton & Grooms sent Nate Murray out to fix a gas leak. The work was extremely well done and most satisfactory. Nate has been out to the house twice and done excellent work both times. Hire Thornton & Grooms and ask for Nate Murray. He does good work. more

Had a plumbing inspection today and 11/11/2011

Had a plumbing inspection today and must say it was pretty thorough. Keith A. (plumber) was here from about 10:00 AM until 5:00PM. He was very thorough and knowledgeable and was able to do some on site repairs. He was not rushed for other appointments and made me feel confident about his capabilities. I agree, there is obviously very good training at T&G...so far, I have only dealt with professional representatives from this company. Keep up the good work...and continuous improvements. more
