I own a Spa in Austin & I think these owners need to be more professional. My best friend is turning 40 years old & I wanted to treat her to a day at a spa. Even though they don't to mani' & pedi's I thought they reviews sounded great. We would just get the body services here & go some place else for mani's & pedi's. So, I scheduled appointments for she and I do have two 2 Hour Ultimate Massage, Body Wraps & facials. I spoke with the owner herself on the evening I made the appointments. I gave her my 2 contact phone numbers & my credit card information to reserve my date on Thursday, Feb. 17th at 10am. I drove all the way to Houston so I could finally pamper myself & my best friend. Even though I own a spa, I rarely treat myself because I am busy & I have little ones at home. So we were really looking forward to our spa day! I tried calling a few days before our appointment because no one called to confirm our appointments & me being an owner of a spa, I thought that was "odd". Nonetheless, the day of the services, I called at 7:30 & every 20 minutes thereafter to confirm our time & make a final decision on which body wrap we would each have. But, when I called the voicemail wouldn't accept any message because it was full. She drives & meets me and then we drive to 5400 Memorial Drive & go into the lobby & we can't go up the elevator because the spa is suppose to come down & get us (this is according to the management company in the lobby). We waited for 45 minutes downstairs. I kept calling & calling, but nothing. I was on the phone calling my assistant to try & help my find another spa in Houston that could "fit us in" for services. I felt awful that we waisted more than 3 hours going there, waiting & then trying to find some place else to go. If an emergency had come up, someone should of at least given me a call to let me know. But, I doubt that is the reason. I believe we were "blown off" and I am very disappointed a professional would do that to another professional. I would not have any confidence in ever scheduling any appointments at this place because you may waste your time, like we did.
