Compared to the big city spas of Houston we were entirely pleased with our experience at the petite retreat. The little tucked away spa was quaint and personal. The staff profess...

Worst

The massage was adequate but why 80 dollars for a modect palce with no special perksa 5 dollar bottle of unchlled wien and filthy sheets. No thanks I won't be back.

I just had the best massage here! 10/12/2010

So I was googling spas in my new neighborhood (the Heights) and found this place. Christi gave me the best deep tissue massage I have ever had. I suffer from chronic back pain and she helped me SOOOO much. The spa is really cool and the owner, well let me say this...Will you marry me? hehe JK I will be a regular here. more

I booked my husbands very first massage on his birthday 10/9/2010

What a personal experience. We enjoyed strawberries and grapes as well as champagne while waiting for our treatment. They were running a little behind so the owner took us on a tour of the fabulous art showcased in the spa. This is a small boutique spa who has its infamous ratings here based on their amazing treatments. We both have had many massages at several destination spas around the world and we both agreed this was really in the top 5 (and this tiny little spa was compared to million dollar spas located in exotic locales, enough said?) We really had a great time and it is so hard to find such personal attention these days... (old school style) We will see you guys when my husband is back in town on business. THANK YOU a big 5 stars. more

Great Spa party for me and my Girls! Incredible Treatments 10/7/2010

So my best friend just got married a few weeks ago and my other best gal pal is getting married in a couple of weeks, so I decided to host a spa party here so we could all relax together! The three of us had massages and facials and we all agreed it was the best we had ever had! The staff here is awesome and truly dedicate themselves to relaxing you and tending to your every need. We had the whole place to ourselves and had a blast! You guys were great and I look forward to coming back with my boyfriend. Did I mention the complimentary champagne, strawberries, and grapes we enjoyed? Really a very personal spa experience. more

I did not know a massage could be like that! AWESOME 9/25/2010

So I am used to going to Massage Envy... I called to book a couple's massage at The Petite Retreat and initially was surprised at the price! Much more than what I was used to, but I booked anyway. I must say, it was the best massage I have ever had and my girlfriend agreed. They used hot stones, hot towels, and stuff that smelled really good. You don't get that at Massage Envy. Every muscle that was tense was smooth as butter when I left. These guys really know their stuff and we even had a glass of champagne with our massage and munched on strawberries and grapes. All in all, my date and I had a wonderful, romantic time. She really liked the candles and rose petals on the tables. We will be back. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Now I know what a massage should be like! more

It was a great date night for me and my hubby 8/16/2010

What personal service and a beautiful location. We have this new thing for taking time for ourselves away from the kids... So I thought what about a couple's spa retreat? We had a 2 hour instructional massage workshop and had so much fun. We brought our own bottle of wine and enjoyed fresh fruit. The owner was so nice to go and get us a take out order from Lola's and it was awesome! We had never heard of this place in the Heights. All in all, this is a true find and you won't see much advertisement because apparently they are word of mouth. This is the best date night for you and yours, especially if you can't find time to truly make a romantic moment due to schedules, kids, etc... We will be back again after we find a sitter! more

My BF surprised me with a couples massage on saturday. we have lived in this area for years and I never knew it was there! XD they treated us so good! gonna tell my parents about this place. surprised at all these bad reviews because the sheets were clean. o_o more
