The Smith's Moving Experience 9/10/2011

Although we're a do it yourself kind of family, this time around we decided to have Superior assist us with this move and overall i really must say, the experience was a very pleasant one. We relocated from Georgia to Nevada and it was nice to have someone else do all the leg work while I could get all of the other plans and living arrangements taken care of. Thank you to your team. Next move we will be using you again. more

Overall, i had a very pleasant experience with Superior. I've been burned in the past and did my due dilligence this time around. I noticed a couple poor reviews here and there but nothing compared to the other companies i was considering. All in all they arrived on time they delivered in a timely fashion. I was able to save a little bit of money and the movers were professional and even helped me pack a couple extra things i was worried about. I would use them again. more

THIS COMPANY IS ALL LIES! 8/25/2011

THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU!!!!!!!!! Let me start off by saying this company fed me SO many lies about being honest, how they were different from the other companies. I dealt with Rocky who said he would ""fight for me"" because he knows the stresses of moving. After much research and reading their reviews and listening to them tell me how great of a company they were I signed up with them.... THEN THREE DAYS BEFORE MY MOVE, a woman named Laura calls me to ""confirm my move"" She ends up giving me a different quote that's $200 more! I said NO WAY Rocky quoted me differently. She tells me shes going to call me back.... THEN.. Rocky calls me back, suddenly the truck that was supposed to come for my move in 3 days is ""broken"" if I want my stuff moved by them I have to move TONIGHT (less than 24 hour notice) AND I HAVE TO PAY THEM OVER $400 MORE THAN MY ORIGINAL AMOUNT!! WHAT A SCAM! When Laura calls me that morning the trucks seemed to be fine, but they wanted that extra money and now their trucks are suddenly broken! WHY am I being punished for THEIR malfunction?? THEN to make matters worse I try calling Ben their supervisor who WON'T GET ON THE PHONE WITH ME OR CALL ME BACK! I tell you what THEY SCAMMED ME OF my $500 DEPOSIT AND don't even have the nerve to call me back and talk to me. Last minute I had to scramble and get a new moving company because these people are SCAM ARTISTS! DO NOT LISTEN TO THE LIES THEY TELL YOU THEY ARE LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE!!!!!!!!!!! more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! 7/28/2011

Fair warning -- avoid this company if you are expecting a 'professional' move. Our belongings were unloaded today and items were not packed / wrapped properly leading to a lot of valuables broken. Furniture was brought in with MILDEW on them, rugs were damp. They were unable to put the furniture back together b/c they lost the parts. Sofa's w/ grease stains and most wood furnishings scraped dented & dinged. Talking to the people in the office is comparable to 'Peggy' from the Discover commercial. And I won't even get into the horrible experience w/ had when they came to pack the house and how they misled us through this whole process. This is not a professional company. more

Great Move 7/28/2011

A few months ago i was hired by my new company making a substantial amount more than what i was making prior. At first they agreed to pay for my move however the amount they allocated for my move was much less than what the move actually cost. I was worried i would come out of pocket which is something i did not want to do: there were so many other expenses i was already handeling driving out to FL, my new living arrangements,..etc. ANyway fortunately i contacted superior and they had a truck going out the same diresction i saved 400$ off the cost of my move. It was alot of help they werent the cheapest but all of the estimates that were less expensive but all of them appeared to perform very poor service due to consumer reports and the BBB. Overall i really enjoyed my experience the drivers were great and i would definitely use them again. more

great 6/10/2011

I recently moved from FL to OH in May of 2011. I just recently finished getting my boxes unpacked and am starting to get all situated in my new home. However i feel a sense of responsibility to say thankyou to Superior moving and storage for the efficient job they did on my move. It took the stress of doing it myself off my shoulders and it was nice to have a group of two honest hardworking men taking care off my lifelong possessions. Thankyou superior and it was a pleasure doing business with you. more

HORRIBLE!! DO NOT USE 10/2/2010

HORRIBLE!! Do not use this company. A box containing a Playstation 3 gaming console was not delivered. A police report was filed and the Better business office was contacted. My son purchased this gaming system with his own money. The company refused to reimburse for the item. The claim form stated that all boxes were packed by shipper and Superior moving and storage was not responsible. Nightmare!! more

Horrible experience, terrible staff 9/27/2010

The movers arrived 6 hours late and were unbelievably rude. Did not wrap my pictures as we were promised by dispatch. Were given 2 hours notice to drive from Charleston, SC to Atlanta under the threat that we would be charged $100/hour if we kept the delivery team waiting. A beautiful framed lithograph was broken and thus ruined. After I filed the damage under the 60 day requirement, management claimed upon their interview of the movers that the damaged was not documented properly upon receipt - they refused to leave us a claim form at receipt!! HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT USE!!!! more

Moving issues 6/3/2009

I hired Superior Moving to move our family as they where listed with the Better Business. I paid for garment boxes, picture boxes, mattress boxes, etc. When Superior showed up, they had an empty truck, except for some mover blankets. All our clothes, pictures, and mattresses where rolled up in those blankets. Not only did I not get a refund on the boxes I purchased, but my call to talk to owner was denied. We lost $500.00! To top it all off, Superior got the name of the town right, but wrong state. We had to wait another 7 hours for them to find us. Needless to say, I would not recommend them to anyone! Move your Business with them they were great! 10/23/2008

I had to move my business in a rush so I called and they were able to get me an appointment in 2 days. I was greatful because I called around and could not get anything for a week. Definitely a company I would use again Pros: They were there for me when I needed them more

I used this company twice to move, once out of state. They were professional and showed up on time, I has lots of fragile stuff and everything was intact when they arrived. I was really greatful they took such good care of my items. I was recommend them to anyone who needs some care in their moves. Pros: All my property was perfect when it got there more

Great Moving Company 10/20/2008

I cant say enough about the care these guys used. For not just moving; but they stored my stuff 6 months while I was out of the country. Everything was perfect when I came back and they moved the furniture and my belongings to my new place without a hitch! comfortable move and on time. 10/20/2008

After being unemployed for 6 months I finally got a new job offer which came with a catch, moving from sunny Florida to Norfolk. I was dreading the hassle of moving more than anything. My new company did not provide a moving expense so I packed everthing myself but contacted Superior about taking all my furniture and packed boxes to Norfolk. I am happy to say everthing arrived just as it was when it left and was even delivered within a couple of hours on the day they said it would arrive....I dont plan on moving again soon but would not hesitate to use them again. Good job! more

I used this moving company ro relocate withing Florida. They were on time, reliable, and efficient. If you need a moving and storage company from Palm Beach to Ft. Lauderale or anywhere else in the country, these are the guys for your job. Pros: Thumbs Up more

These guys came in packed for me, moved everything to my new house, and then put everything in the appropriate rooms. I would definantely use them again for my next move. more
