The service that the crew gave me was awesome, they were polite and very well mannered. The leader of the crew Jim was humorous and knew what he was doing! I didn't have enough money for a decent tip and Jim told me to forget the tip and just recommend the company to anyone looking for a move. I was so happy I didn't mind writing this review. His partner was a joy to be around a little shy but knew what he was doing and even wiped his feet before entering my new house! The total cost was a little higher than estimated, but nothing damaged nothing missing and the young men were so nice and helpful. Thanks guys! If I was to move again I would call Superior and get those movers that I just had! Pros: One of the best! Cons: None that I can think of more

I hired Superior Movers to do a move for me. The day of the move,THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I called the office and spoke with a person by the name of Mark (he said he was the manager,he really is the owner I found out later) , he said he had no record of a scheduled move for us. He then stated that I never called to scheduled an appointment (I called 2 1/2 weeks prior). He said he would be able to help me out. He would call 3 of his guys in (it was their day off) and the cost would be $127.50 per hour, plus 2 hours traveling time (coming & going). Mark said he had to pay his crew time and a half because it's their day off. Talk about RIPPING people off. Of course I declined his offer and found another mover the same day and he charged his regular rates.Superior Movers should change their name to THIEVES & LIARS MOVING CO-it fits them to a ""T"". Without going into details, Superior movers did a LOUSY job for me. They were recommended by a friend who used them about a year and was happy. My move was the opposite. Although the guys were polite, they had a hard time moving the items. Out of the 3 guys, one knew what he was doing. The other 2 guys seemed like they were hired right off the street.My white sofa was never covered with any type of plastic, so in the move it got dirty. My bedroom set got chipped, when questioned about it, they said it was flakeboard and they aren't responsible for it, because it wasn't ""wood"".I understand things occur while moving, but for the company not to take responsibilty for it ,is a different story.Calling about the damages fell on deaf ears. Here is creditbility for you... I in fact worked for Comcast at the time of my move. I've sold on E-bay under the name of 13blpurlace1 (Magically Enchanted) and have a picture of myself posted. Take a look at the picture... does it LOOK like I'd be moving any kind of furniture at all???? I don't negate that people have had bad experiences with this moving companies, Superior included. I've read reviews of plenty before choosing Superior and not one moving company had a ""squeaky clean"" record. Our experience with Superior, and we count our blessings, was everything positvie. Having worked in a heavily competitve field, I know bad reviews are continuously being written by competitors. On the flip side, good reviews are written by employees of its own company. Not all the reviews though are ""fake"", good or bad. No matter what moving company you choose to go with, you take your chances with someone else handling your belongings. You WILL NOT find one moving company that DOES NOT have a bad review. I've searched. What we solely based our decision upon was the bottom dollar. Reading all the reviews of MANY moving companies drove me completely NUTS!!! And after MANY calls and estimates, Superior was able to do our move at half the cost of other moving companies. We chose to take a chance of complete strangers manhandling our items into our new home and we chose to save money with our move. We were completely satisfied with them. If we would have done the move ourselves... in the end, our bodies would have been broken down, and half of our belongings would have been damaged along with our new home. Think about it folks... if you feel as though you can do a better job of it, then don't hire strangers to do the work. Do it yourselves or get some friends to help out. There is good and bad in every industry out there... no one and nothing is perfect! Life is about taking chances... everyday. Pros: Great rates, professional service Cons: There are none more

I am a private investigator. I needed a large and heavy heater removed from a fire scene to a storage facility. The heater was extremely heavy and was approximately 12-15 feet above floor level. Further, it had to be moved in a manner which did no further damage.\r \r There were several witnesses present to witness this move.\r \r The movers from Superior were extremely professional. I can't say enough about how they moved this piece of evidence. The witnesses present also stated how much they were impressed.\r \r I would recommend this company to anyone. Personally, I will not be using anyone else in the future. more

Used Superior about 12 years and they were great. This time it was the opposite.It was a nightmare. They estimated about 5 hours for the move, it turned out to be 7 and half hours. They couldn't explain why it took them 2 and half hours longer. After unpacking the boxes, I did notice some things missing (dvd's,cd's,portable cd player, also some of my kids toys)- I couldn't prove they took it, BUT I KNOW THEY DID. \r I didn't know about this site until after the move. Reading the reviews, I could only assume , if you hire them, you are taking a chance. Customers seem to love or hate Superior movers. Most of the reviews are negative against them-which should tell you something.I WOULD MAKE THIS ONE RECOMMADATION TO ANY ONE THINKING OF USING SUPERIOR MOVERS-FIND YOURSELF ANOTHER MOVER,It's not worth taking a chance. Spoke with their salesman who was very polite. He changed my date after my settlement fell through with no problem. He gave me the lowest price after I called five other movers. One company even wanted to charge me for an estimate. The three movers they sent were fasy and funny. I needed a little levity after what my mortgage company put me through. It was a pleasure to deal with Superior. I would definitely use them again and would refer to friends and family. Pros: Great Movers and low prices more

I recently used Superior Moving for my local move. My sister and mother referred me to Superior since they had successful moves! I am a single mother and I don't make tons of money and Mark from Superior was really great to me!! He helped me out with a great price. The movers were polite and handled my furniture with care. When I received my final bill there were no hidden charges and I was fully aware of all the cost of my move. \r I would RECOMMEND Superior to anyone; I will definitely use them again. Job well done SUPERIOR!!!! more

Let me start by saying Joe and Don or Dan (I'm not really sure what his name was. He introduced himself upon arrival but I can't seem to remember his name) were beautiful people. They arrived at my house in Bristol on time and, like I said, greeted me and introduced themselves. We took a walk-through of everything that I wanted to move then I signed all the paperwork. On the walk-through, Joe, who was handling all the paperwork, was very upfront and told me that there would be a small charge for all the glass, pictures, and mirrors I had. He said that normally it would be about $7 per piece of small glass or picture but that he would work with me on the price. Then he gave me an estimate of how long he thought it would take to move everything. He asked a lot of questions about the house I was moving to before giving me the estimate, he seemed thorough and experienced despite his age. His partner was hustling all day and was very friendly. We talked about family and the Phillies hah. Long story short, they moved everything carefully and quickly. They finished the move an hour under the estimate. I tipped the guys and took 4 business cards from them. I handed them out to my sisters and a friend of mine. I would recommend Superior Moving to anyone who needs to move. The reviews on this site seem to be overwhelmingly negative but I can't believe any of them after the stress-free day I had. Then again, Don said there was a wide variety between the different crews at the office. Well, Superior gets an A+ and proves they are superior. more

Okay where do I started first when they arrived the one guy told me he works on tips. So my husband and I felt obligated to tip him. We were qouted 74.50 for 2 men by the hour. Plus an hr travel time. They worked 3 hours plus the 1 hour travel time it should of been 338.00 with tax. He charged me 391.00 when asked him about it he told me it was a surcharge , Moving being already stressful we paid him plus tipped him. Later we found out from the owner he added tip in there for himself. So ripped us off and broke our box spring . The helper stole our micorowave. Never again. Consideing reporting this company . Pros: None. Cons: Crooks!!!!!! more

the only way I can describe my experience with Superior movers is Nightmare. Yes, they are the cheapest-the saying you get what you pay for is so true. One the guys kept complaing how heavy the items are (duuu- you are suppose to be use to lifting heavy stuff). I saw another guy drop a box on the street. When I confronted him, he denied it. I knew I was in trouble. Having settlement the next day, I had no choice. Unpacking the boxes not only did I find broken items, but I was missing items. Each box was numbered with the contents on a seperate peice of paper. I knew they opened the boxes and took items-but I couldn't prove it. I found dents and scratches on the furniture.STAY AWAY FROM SUPERIOR MOVERS!!!!!! Pros: nothing more

Spoke with the owner who gave me a great price and sent four great movers. I have a single home and they emptied it in under four hours. I never seen anything like it. I hadn't moved in thirty years. What an operation! Nothing was broken and the movers were pleasant. Would definitely use again. Pros: Fast, Pleasant movers. more

I should have read the reviews before I hired the worst moving company that I ever dealt with.Take all the negative things that people wrote about superior Movers and muliple it double. They created a nightmare for me. From being 2 hours late (without calling) to doing damage to my bedroom and dining room sets. Not to mention the lamp they broke.It's amazing they are still in business. One could only hope that Superior Movers will get what they deserve.STAY AWAY FROM THEM. We used them to move our furniture - some into storage, and some into an apt. Then we used them to move everything out of storage and the apt once we found a house. The first leg of the move was ok. But trying to move out of the apt was a problem. They did not bring a truck large enough, so they had to get a second one - which took time (pay by the hour). They kept calling their manager to discuss (more time and money on our end). Once we finally got to the new house, the first thing we saw on the truck was our patio table -- broken!! From then on, we found they scratched our piano, broke the side of our large screen HDTV, scratched the bed headboard, put a hole in the sofa (their remedy was to get string and sew the hole, which looks awful!), lost glass to our coffee table, and more. Seven months later, we still do not have the glass they came out to measure for. They were supposed to cut glass to fit the coffee table. Yeah, right. When I called about it, Colleen, who answered the phone, was a complete bit*%. Victor then got on the phone and apologized about the glass, said he was swamped and said he'd call later today (which is the same story we heard about 4 other times regarding other issues!). We have not gone thru all of our boxes since our move, but I know that we will find more missing and broken things. They stole our karaoke machine, which was in it's own box and is now MIA!! It's not worth it to use them. You'll spend more money fixing and replacing stolen items than you will if you use a good mover that is more expensive/professional/reputable to begin with. Don't use them!!!!!\r OH-and the guys who claim to have been movers for a long time, complained the whole time that we have such heavy furniture, which is no different than anyone else's dresser, sofa, TV, etc. They were awful. Don't risk using them for any reason. Zero stars is what I'd rate them if I could. more

I can't believe they are still in business! Some of my boxes mysteriously disappeared between my apartment and my new house, then they took a lunch break....on my dime when they got to my house. Broke an antique chair but said they didn't when I watched them drop it on the sidewalk. Stopped unloading the truck and said I owed them an additional $500 or they would leave with the remainder of my stuff.\r Awful! This place is a disgrace, I hope their enjoying my shoes, CD's and DVD Player that they stole! Pros: Absolutely nothing! Moving companies are regulated by the Public Ulity Commission-Contact them with all the details,pictures,etc. Keep a log of phone calls, leters,etc. that you had with Superior Movers\r Also other sources to contact Attonery General office,BBB. \r Once I contacted the Public Ulity Commission, Superior Movers got in touch with me and corrected the problems right away. The owner called me directly and wanted to know why I cantacted the PUC?\r Contact a lawyer and start legal action which includes recovering lawyers fees and court cost.\r Superior movers ripped off so many people, it's about time they get a dose of their own medicine more

These guys came in and moved an entire house full of furniture in five hours. What else is there to say? Very professional and finbal price came in under their estimate. Pinch me I think I'm dreaming. Pros: Positive All Around Experience Cons: None Come to Mind more
