I AM A FREQUENT MOVER. IT SEEMS THAT I MOVE EVERY TWO YEARS. THE SUPERIOR MOVING AND STORAGE COMPANY IS MY CHOICE BECAUSE FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS THEY HAVE COME THROUGH FOR ME WITHOUT A FLAW. ON MY MOST RECENT MOVE, I WAS VERY SICK, REST-BROKEN AND WEAK FROM A STOMACH VIRUS. I NEEDED TO MOVE RIGHT AWAY. SUPERIOR ASSIGNED THREE OF THE MOST PROFESSIONAL MOVERS I COULD HAVE EVER ASKED FOR. STEVE MCLEAN, CHRIS SWAN AND CHRIS HOLLAND!!! THEY WERE THOUGHTFUL AND CAREFUL. THEY UNDERSTOOD THAT I WASN'T FEELING WELL AND PROCEEDED EFFICIENTLY AND IN A TIMELY MANNER. I EXPLAINED THAT I WANTED TO BE DISCREET IN MOVING OUT OF A DANGEROUS NEIGHBORHOOD, AND THEY COMPLIED WITH MY REQUEST. THEY CLEARLY KNEW WHAT TO DO, AND I FELT COMPLETELY CONFIDENT IN THEM THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT WAS EXPECTED OF THEM! IT IS BECAUSE OF SUPERIOR'S PROFESSIONALISM THAT I WILL ALWAYS COME BACK EVERY TIME AND I WILL GLADLY REFER THEM TO WHOMEVER I KNOW IS MOVING, AND WANTS A SUPERIOR MOVING COMPANY TO DO THE JOB!\r SHARON Pros: HANDS DOWN THE BEST! more

T-Bone and his crew arrived right on time and completed my whole move, including hoisting a king-sized mattress, in under two hours. I cannot recommend their services enough, this was the second time we used Superior and will definitely use them again. T-Bone and Antoine did an exceptional job, the other member of the team was slightly less careful, but overall we are very happy with the move. I would trust them with the most difficult objects, watching them hoise the bed out of the back of the house was pure poetry. Pros: Quick and careful movers more

The day started off bad, they were scheduled to arrive at my home at 8:30 and they didn't arrive until 9:45. Then the truck they came with was already loaded with tons of cardboard so they had to leave and get another truck; they didn't come back until 11:30. When we arrived to my new residence they started carrying things in my house with two guys that was originally loaded by one. Then I over heard one of the movers tell the other mover to slow down because they get paid by the hour. When I confronted the mover about what he said he became irate and increasingly aggressive; I was moments away from a physical altercation. I called the office to make them aware of what happened and the office supervisor told me that the mover did not say what I heard him say out of his own mouth. I banded the mover from touching my furniture and did not allow him back in my home. Then I realized my $4500.00 bed's post was cracked. One of the movers told me it was like that when he loaded it on the truck then I said if that was the case why are the cracked pieces on the floor of the truck, realizing he was caught in his lie the mover said o kay we will have it fixed. After the movers left; thank God, I realized that a majority of my wooden furniture was scratched, chipped, and a foot print was on the top of my coffee table. My Italian leather sofa arm rest was scratched beyond repair. This moving company is the worse customer service experience I have ever had in my life. Stay away, the money you think you will be saving is not worth it. If you want thugs moving your family into your home and handling you personal possessions then call Superior Movers. I gave them a one star rating because it would not allow me to leave a review but my true feeling is they deserve a negative two star rating, and that is being nice. Don't be fooled by the four star ratings for this company, the ratings are probably left by employees or friends of the company. This company is bad news more

i have used superior 5 times over the last two years. I will never use anyone else again. The cutomer service is above the bar. The movers go the extra mile. I have always been treated with respect. They also move pianos! The last time i used them, they moved my business and actually hoisted a refridgerator up to the third floor over the deck! In addition, when they moved my stuff into storage, the movers took the time to arrange things so that i would be able to easily access everything! Cant say enough! Bad customers services and liars! They give me a quote from philly to florida and when they came to move me which they were latre, it was totally a liar! Why do they continue on taking advantage of people. I will never use them again! I would not recommend them to my worse enemy! more

I called quite a few movers when I had to move a little over a year ago. I chose this company because of the price and also because the man who took my order was incredibly helpful and patient. This was my first move using professional movers so I had a lot of questions. He took the time to explain everything to me. My boyfriend and I were moving from our individual apartments into another apartment together. So, they had a lot to do. The men were polite, helpful, and strong. The move went smoothly. Nothing was damaged. Even with all the driving between 3 apartments, it only took about 7 hours. I have recommended them to all of my friends and family. I am moving again soon and I just booked them for my next move. I have no doubt it will go as well as the first move. Pros: Great price, friendly employees more

I used 2 other companies over the past 3 years and had terrible experiences with both of them. I even used the ""best moving company in Philly."" What a bunch of frauds, they took forever to move my furniture and scratched everything. I figured I would try another new company and called these guys. their prices were lower than everyone's and they had the highest volume of moves in the past 15 years. Flwaless. I had never had a stress free move day before. I had to join Citysearch just to review these guys becuase I think most people don't comment about good things, only bad. I recently use Superior Moving for my move last week. When they first arrived I was concerned that they wouldn't be able to handle my move, but they did a fabulous job! They were also the cheapest moving company to use. I was concerned that when I got a cheap price that I would get cheap service, but they didn't fail. They did a great job and a great price. Superior is the best. It was so easy to get things done with these guys. i called a couple days before my last move in an emergency and these guys acted like there was nothing wrong with that. i thought i might be in trouble or atleast have to pay a really high price for such short notice but i just got the normal rates. These guys were fast. They got me out of my King of Prussia house faster than I finisehd signing the paperwork. They sent out 2 trucks and 6 guys, finished my move to Downingtown in under 7 hours. I had some nice pictures and sculptures. The guys knew what they were doing right away, some started moving furniture, some started packing. I have to say it was an easy day. What an easy move day! The hardest part was the settlement. Superior Moving was the first company I called to get rates for moving and by the time I hung up the phone, I decided to go with them. I had a date in mind that would work with my settlement but that was a nightmare. I had to call Superior to reschedule and they had no problem with it. I expected to have to pay some kind of extra charge for it but to my surprise, nothing. The movers came and moved me out of my house in under 4 hours! When we got to my new house, I paid the leader and they moved me in. I asked if there was anything I could do to help and they just told me to relax and boss them around! They ended up finishing a couple minutes before they expected to so I got a small refund. I took about 10 business cards from JR and handed them all out to my mom and my sister and her friend. On August 25, 2006, Superior Moving brought our boxes from our house and their storage to our new home. Once ""everything"" was unloaded but in no way checked, they had my husband sign a paper that everything had been delivered. We brought SO many boxes, it was impossible to know. My husband did not ask me about the paper; he just signed it. It turned out that a hand-made table passed down to me, jewelry, and paintings were missing. I called the company numerous times and they promised to look for the table. I don't think that happened though. Eventually, they told me to file an insurance claim. However, their insurance paid something ridiculous and a sales receipt was needed. Of course, a family heirloom would not have a sales receipt so I could not get the table back nor be paid for it. I didn't realize the other things were missing until much later and it just wasn't worth contacting them. I consulted an attorney, but I hadn't taken photos of the table or had it appraised so I was out of luck. I never believed they would lose something so beautiful approximately 3 1/2' tall by about 1 1/2' wide and just refuse to even check to see if it had been overlooked somehow. My impression, my opinion, of Superior Moving is that the company is not trustworthy. I advise people to use them at their own risk. Their name says it all - SUPERIOR. These 4 guys worked their tails off in the cold driving rain on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I have never seen anything like it in my life! They moved us from twin to twin about 5 miles apart. The one we were moving from was small with very tight stair and hallways. Like the person before me wrote - not a single scratch anywhere. Broke down and set up 3 bedroom sets, washer/driver. Living/dining room/kitchen furniture - fridge, tons of boxes and random stuff from the garage... done in less than 3 hours and came in considerably under the estimate! But to cap it off - they were just the most genuinely pleasant, kind and respectful human beings I have met in a long long time. Last week a team of 4 young men helped my Aunt move from Philly to Franklin Pa. In two short hours they loaded a 5 room apartment. All during the move they were courteous, respectful, and mindful of the difficulties of moving. They left the apartment in excellent condition, not a single dent or broken part. They said they would be at the destination at 7am the next day, and they were there right on time. \r \r Again they did their job in two hours without a single dented wall, not a single piece of scraped furniture, and not a single smashed box. They worked well together and made the experience even enjoyable. Our move was from Mont Clare, PA to downtown Philadelphia. Superior send two men and a van for this medium-sized move. They gave us a 'heads up' call and arrived at the original time stated. They were quick, efficient, helpful as well as very careful. They specially wrapped a large 3x5-foot mirror (at a nominal extra fee) as well as a couple of other anitques. Everything arrived in perfect order. The two men were polite, listened to my instructions, put the items exactly where I wanted them, and helped me place an 8x11-foot carpet (which would have been impossible for me to do alone). They couldn't have been nicer. We would definitely use them again ourselves and are pleased to be able to highly recommend this company. more
