I'm not sure on where to start. Sad to say that this establishment was featured on the food network, which my wife an I assumed was a sure WIN. After waiting 2 hours....which is fine, after all we are in NYC, the disappointments were everywhere. Food, if you want to call it that, was amateur at best but we were forgiving since this place is known more for its ice cream and desserts, so BRING THEM ON....right? WRONG. Ice cream was ok, nothing over the top or special. Frozen hot chocolate.....what a joke. Whipped cream......better off brining in your own tub of cool whip.
If this is the best NYC has to offer for ice cream lovers, than we need to look no further than our closest supermarket and pick up a $5.00 carton of Breyers. Overall poor quality, lacks inspiration and flair from staff.
Lastly, any restaurant that is known for $1,000 ice cream dish can certainly afford to keep up and clean the place.
