Alan is truly ""THE BEST"" 11/1/2008

I have been a client of Alan's for over 10 years. I never have to worry. I just ALWAYS get the BEST hair cut and color. He covers my grey and makes me look younger with the latest style. He loves what he is doing, never rushes, and gives an awesome head and neck massage when he is shampooing. Alan is truly decicated and committed to making sure I am happy and feel good about my hair. Awesome Salon experience! 10/29/2008

Alan Cawthon is a true professional. I have been a client of Alan's for about 9 years and have never even considered going to another stylist! Your session will begin with an amazing wash - making you feel ""close to comatose"". The transformation continues with a cut that is always painstakingly perfect, as Alan always takes his time to make sure you are happy. What I always appreciate is that he never allows himself to be distracted. He has a great time - it is obvious he loves his job, but his focus is on you. You cannot go wrong having Alan color and cut your hair. I always get positive feedback when he is done! more

I have had Alan creating and coloring my hair for over 9 years. I love versatility and that is exactly what I get when I go to Alan. He always knows exactly what I want and need to have my hair look great. Over the nine years I have had long, short, straight, highlights, lowlights, brown, blonde, etc., you name it I?ve asked for it and everytime Alan is up to date on the latest styles, colors, and products to do just what I want. Its never a dull moment with Alan and its always a wonderful professional experience!. A visit with Alan is spa experience 10/23/2008

No one has ever cut my hair the way Alan does. He is simply the best. As a Mom with a busy life, I look forward to spending a spa-like experience while Alan cuts my hair. He begins by washing your hair with a neck and head massage that will leaving you wanting more! I trust him emphatically with my hair. I have complete confidence in his ability. We never have to discuss what he is doing. I trust him to work his wonders and walk away looking amazing every time! Once Alan cuts your hair I assure you that you will never go anywhere else! more

Alan has been taking care of my hair for years. I moved away for a while and tried other stylist, but no one compared to Alan; I ended up traveling over an hour so I could have Alan do my hair. I have naturally wavy hair and Alan does a great job texturizing my hair so it looks it's best curly or straight. I appreciate the time Alan takes to perfect my hair, I won't go to anyone else. more

I would highly recommend Alan at Salon Tru! I'd never had my hair colored prior to my first visit and was surprised at how natural it looked. He is an expert at hair color. My cut, as well, was outstanding. Better than ever!!! His scalp massage while shampooing was fabulous! I'd highly recommend all stylists take notes on this technique. Definitely will recommend him to EVERYONE I see. Go see ALAN now :) more

Alan is incredibly talented and versatile. He knows color and works well with my challenging hair type (fine and thick). His friendly and upbeat attitude is refreshing, professional, and genuine. I leave an appointment with Alan looking and feeling beautiful, fresh, & unique, rather than a cookie cutter of the person he cut before me. Best Hair cut and color 10/17/2008

Alan is by far the best person I have ever found to cut, color and relax my hair! He cuts hair to perfection, the color is always perfect and when I need a relaxer it always comes out great. I don't even have to tell him what to do because he knows what cut and color will look great on me. I love when I am going to get my hair done with him because I know I am going to laugh a lot and have a fun time. I have naturally curly long hair and he knows exactly how to cut it to help me keep it looking more straight. He is great with long hair!! more

Just Ok but not great.... 10/15/2008

The saloon has a old decor, so it made me feel that I was not in the right place and made feel 10 years older....the hairdresser I had is very young but it was advertised that she was the best , etc etc....she is a nice person indeed BUT is not a professional stylist just yet as she has been in this profession for only 3 years....so she still has lots to learn. I think they are ok for men hair cut and old lady styles but not if you want a trendy and upscale saloon, this is definetely not the place! more

Maren is the best! 9/22/2008

I recently got a really bad haircut from a salon that will remain unnamed. I was so upset and angry about the experience. A friend recommended I go see Maren at salon Tru, so I did. Maren was so helpful and understanding. She helped me pick an new cut that framed my face and gave me a whole new, wonderful look. I love it!! She is so wonderful! I'll never go anywhere else again. Thanks Maren!! Pros: The place is easy to find and very very nice inside. Very relaxing atmosphere. Cons: None. I love going there and getting pampered! more

As a male sometimes I think it's intimidating to go to a salon for a haircut. But, after having Maren cut my hair, I'll never change salons. She gives an excellent scalp massage and shampoo; not to mention great haircut. She gets it right every time. Now my wife goes to her as well and can't say enough good things. i definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great stylist! more

I love the hours the salon has because it works around my schedule and takes it's time to really give me the attention that I deserve. I am usually nervous about changing stylists, but after Shana Dee highlighted and trimmed my hair I walked out of the salon with a smile on my face. I will definitely be going back to her! She is also very knowledgeable about hair products and educated me on how to get the most volume out of my fine hair. more

I moved to Arizona about a year ago and fretted with trying to find a stylist. Katina was recommended to me by a coworker and I never looked back! Love this place! 1/10/2008

I go to Alysia to get my hair done and she gets it right every time. I have had her cut my hair when it was long and she recently gave me the cutest short cut I've ever had. She also does my color. I get compliments on the color all the time. She takes the time to get it perfect and always listens to what I want. She is very professional and takes her job seriously. The salon has a nice atmosphere and is located in a great area. more
