I LUV FRATANGELO'S 12/12/2002

I have been to their head stylist 4 times and I am getting so many compliments on my hair (which is a new thing for me) that I'll never leave. They have the most awsome products and ALL their staff has good-looking, healthy hair. I even bought a bunch of their facial products after talking to the facialist and trying some stuff just on my hands. I am a true fan and highly recommend them. Pros: parking, hours more

My hair has never looked better. I didn't feel as if they pushed products at all. My stylist was very educated on the line of products they carry seeing as she is the trainer in the entire NW area including Seattle. Of course she tells me what she uses every time and I always decide whether or not I want what she recommends. I happen to be a product junkie and appreciate that my stylist knows in which case I should use moulding mud vs. wax for example. I send Fratangelos people all the time and have never heard a bad word. Pros: quality, intimate, great service Cons: no nails more

Incredible Facial 12/5/2002

I have gotten quite a few facials so I do not say this lightly. This esthetician is awsome. She gave me this "Paprika & Fruit Acid Peel" that was out of this world. AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS TO FIND A HAIR HOME, I FINALLY FOUND IT. THESE GUYS ARE TOPS AND OOHHH THE HOT TOWELS ARE TO DIE FOR. MY COLOR IS AWSOME AND HAVE ALREADY SENT THEN TWO OTHER WOMEN FROM MY OFFICE WHO ARE ALSO GOING TO BE LIFERS. THANKS JEN! more

If you love to be rubbed... 11/26/2002

The shiatsu scalp massage is divine and made me forget all my troubles. My girlfriends and I had a salon party recently at Frantagelo's and is was so much fun. Everbody really enjoyed themselves. Jennifer Scolnick did a fantastic job of giving my hair the "shape" it badly needed. Thank you! more

I would not trust my hair to anyplace BUT Fratangelo's. The cuts, color, services...everything is top notch. The owner, Jennifer, works hard to ensure that all customers are taken care of, with premium services at affordable prices. I love Fratangelo's! It's right off the MAX, and well worth the trip. I too, have been coming here for about a year. I actually found them though citysearch last year around the holidays when my stylist moved to a salon in the Hollywood district (too far for me to keep driving). I started with Jennifer and now go to Madeline. They really have grown over the last year and it seems like every time I come in, something is different or new. I always enjoy hearing about the latest class they've attended, show they've seen or new product they carry. They are always doing some event which I think is cool. Great customer service also. Pearl District Quality 11/11/2002

I've been a client of Fratangelo's since they opened and this place has exploded! They came from nothing in this totally new area and I have to admit they did go through a few people that I'd never let touch my hair. Now they really have got their act together with a very competent and friendly staff (any of whom I'd go to). I have never had a bad experience with my stylist, the owner and I cant wait for my appointment with the new esthetician next week! I would definately give them a try if you need hair (and now skin-which I'll comment on later) help or are new and looking for a top noch stylist. Pros: Quality work, Quality products, Well trained Cons: Location, Music is hit/miss more

FRATANGELOS IS OVER THE TOP! 11/1/2002

I read all the reviews and despite some of the horrible ones I read, I tried them anyway. Attitude is hardly a word to describe these people by the way. My haircut was with the owner. I have long hair and have had no luck finding someone who can do long hair with layers. She is awsome and I'll be a client for life. The place is imtimate, really clean and so service orientated. The prices were compatible with any other plce in town with the exception of Great Clips or something and you get so much FREE STUFF and like samples when you buy their products. Dont listen to the bad press, probably just some jealous or ignorant soul. They have my vote for sure! Pros: parking, free samples, wine! Cons: waiting area, no nails, closed Sundays more

FABULOUS! 9/21/2002

I told Jenn that I needed help transforming from my hair from the "student" look to that of a professional. She was friendly, listened attentively to my needs and incorporated all of my suggestions into an absolutely AMAZING cut with highlights! I travelled out to Hillsboro from downtown to see her and I will do it again every time I need a touch-up. Thank you Jenn at Fratangelo's! Pros: friendly, great service, great style Cons: pricey more

Good avertising, bad everything else 9/10/2002

The owner/stylist did not listen to my needs or to my preferences. She spent most of her time pushing overpriced (compared to Nordstroms) products and future services. She even insulted my color palatte (I wear Bobbi Brown adn Laura Mercier cosmetics so I don't see how that is possible). Steer clear of this place. It is a waste of time and money. more

I have been getting my hair done for 11 years now and have never found anyone I REALLY have liked. Untill I moved to Portland and found Fatangelo's there Great! Great Salon!!! 8/28/2002

I never considered this salon before since it was way out in Hillsboro...not the usual "downtown" or "northwest" hair salon location...but it's located right across from the MAX station, and nearby is Orenco Station which has many cool stores and eateries! Best of all, the people are great there!!! I had a fantastic highlighting job by Madeline...superb job!!! Jennifer and Jennifer are great too!! They have fun "treatment" events where you get a wonderful complimentary service without any pressure to buy!! I went to one and I liked this shea butter treatment product so much that I went back and bought it the next day! I highly recommend this salon...it's a great place! butchered 8/22/2002

i had my hair cut here in december and it was a butcher job...not to mention the cosmetics application the stylist did to "refresh" my makeup...maybe it was because i was in on a friday nite, but i will never go back. i won't even begin to mention the price i was charged for the mess they made.
