I am a Buffalo resident and recently had a plumber from roto-rooter come to my home. I had two visits prior from one of their competitors for a small flood issue in the basement. The plumber from roto-rooter did far more than asked and took care of the issue I was having and that was ignored by the other service. I would refer them to others. more

Excellent service - found my parent's basement in Buffalo filled with 3 inches of water and a plumber arrived within an hour, replaced the broken sump pump within an hour and got all the water out of the basement. Thanks for the speedy, excellent service, highly recommend more

I live in Buffalo NY and needed a plumber to unclog my bathtub drain after my daughter dropped a cap down it..I am a single parent with limited resources and was afraid of getting ripped off..I was pleasantly surprised by the professional ,low sales pressure I recieved..My plumber ,Albert even checked my outside drain w/ a video camera just to make sure everything was all clear at no extra cost,I would defintely recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing assistance. I was able to use an online coupon which helped..there was no mess for me to clean up and I felt he did a thorough job..he even liked my puppy...I am very pleased. more

Hot Water Tank 10/16/2011

We have a two year old hot water tank and it wasn't working. We called Roto Rooter in the morning around 9AM, they told us they would have a service man around 1 - 1:30. At 2PM I called and they said in a half hour more, at 3PM I called again and they said a half hour more, finally at 4:15 they arrived. They did replace the thermal couple in the tank and they were so very expensive. To change a thermal couple cost almost $200 dollars and the part was under warranty. I can't believe how long we waited (all day) for service and then what could we do at that time of day when we needed hot water. We had no choice but to pay the high "labor" charge. I don't know how they can get away with charging so much money. Everyone I spoke to about this thought it was awful and very very expensive for changing a thermal couple. more

Our basement flooded on 9/30/2011, and we needed a plumber that handles the Buffalo area. When we called they told us they would have some there within 2 hours. They were there in that time frame, and the 2 men that showed up were very professional, and made sure we knew what to expect for the service including the video follow up and something we could use for the drain to keep it clean. We were very impressed with the service from the phone call to the follow up. more

After looking for a plumber in the Buffalo area, I decided to call Roto-Rooter. I have had Roto-Rooter do some work for me in the past & was very satisfied. And again, I was satisfied with a complicated drain problem. They arrived & completed the job in a timely & professional manner. I have not only recommended them, I'll call them in the future. more

The plumbers were at my house within one hour of my phone call for help. They cleaned my sewer line quickly and efficiently. They left everything clean. Both plumbers were very friendly and got along wonderfully. It was great to see two plumbers from Buffalo working late, yet seem to be having a good time! I would highly recommend them! more

excellent service!!!!! 9/21/2011

i had a plugged drain again!!!!!!!!!!!! this time it was in the bathtub, it sucked so i called a couple plumming services out of the phone book , one could not come till the next day , and one said they would be there within the hour, cool the thought well within 10mins. of him being there he quoted me a price of 678.00 dollars what are you nuts! sent him on his way. so i decided to call our old faithful plummers roto-rooter from buffalo , thinking they to would wont arm and leg and first born, well to my surprise they where there in one and a half hrs. and not even a hour later the drain was working great! for less than half the price as the other guy quoted me thank god for mike that came to save the day.thanks again more

Sewer and Drain Problems 9/19/2011

Good: Once a year I have issues with the sewer system at my house and I can always count on Roto-Rooter to help me out, no matter the time of day or the season. They're like the post office - neither rain, nor sleet, nor gloom of night.... Bad: Nothing. The repairmen who show up are always curteous and professional. more

Rotor-Rooter Review 8/4/2011

I called the company on the 31st.of July and explain the problem i had. The response was quick and I was given a estimate and a time for them to come in to my home and replace a hot water heater and run a snake out for a stopped up kitchen sink. The technician arrived on the 1st of August on time and went to the basement and expalin everything he had to do. He was very proffesional and courteous and efficent. anf clean up pretty good when the job was finish. A few day later the company called and said i was overcharged and would credit the money back to my credit card.I was very suprised of the honest gesture.This was not my first time dealing with the company that's why I called them again. Everything in my home is up and running again and I am quite pleased and will again call them and recommend them again. MS.PHYLLIS BLAZER more

We had a plumbing back up in the basement for the main drain. Wonderful thing to happen when it's your Birthday and folks are coming over for a party. The service was very fast, professional and caring. All fixed and cleaned up before guests arrived. We highly recommend their service for your plumbing needs! more
