Good sales pitch. Good service...at first. Now rude and uncaring. Trash + Recycle pickup for me is the 1st & 3rd Tuesday. On the 3rd Tuesday I put out both cans. Trash was picked up but Recycle was not. I thought the mistake was mine, possibly having put Recycle out on the wrong week, so I put Recycle out again with Trash on the 4th Tuesday. This time no pickup happened. Understanding perhaps the snow had caused the delay, I left the cans out and on the next day (Wednesday) the Trash was picked up. Thank you for that. But Recycle was not picked up -- again. On Thursday morning I called Rocky Mtn Disposal to inquire. The rude lady that answered the phone said that if my Recycle was not picked up on it's scheduled day then it's my responsibility to call and ask for it to be picked up. So I asked for it to be picked up and was told that today (4th Thursday) is not my pickup day, and my request was denied. Not good business as promised in the sales pitch. And when I told the rude lady that this is poor business, she did not care. Lady, get your life straight so that your stress and negativity won't affect your customers. Your demeanor and lackluster customer service led me to write this review. See how that works? I'll be going back to my former service provider when this period of service ends. \r Additionally, the promise of bringing the cans back up the driveway for you -- many times not done, only getting moved about 10 feet, just rear of the sidewalk -- IN my driveway so that I nearly back over them with my car if I'm not looking for trash cans behind me. I'd rather you leave them on the curb and I'll get them, than set me up for damage to my car. I can only imagine how that phone call would go. more

I have been a customer for more than 9 years. My driveway is on an incline, but every week--ice, snow, or whatever, my trashcan is hauled back to the top of my driveway after pickup. I only remember my trash not getting picked up once, and they credited my account. I noticed that there is a small rate increase on my bill this time, but this is the first increase in about 5 years. They didn't even go up when the economy took a tank. I believe in supporting small business, and this is definitely one that I will continue to support. more

Purchased service on Monday, Pick up was Thursday, Trash was out Wednesday night, Drivers said he stopped at 3:30pm and that the trash was not out, so the pick up was not done. Called Friday and got my 6 months worth of pre-paid service refunded. I was a customer for less than a week. more

We’ve never had a problem in 3 years. We prepay for 6 months at a time, garbage gets picked up, cans brought to house, repeat every week. We use our own cans since most negative reviews on almost all of the companies are drop-off/ pick-up/ size/ durability/ additional charge of totters. We bought 2- 50 gallon totters at Lowes and they have held up well for over 3 years and have paid for themselves without the added fees of “leasing” one.\r \r Pros: \r -Will pick up garbage from side of garage if we forgot to put them out\r -Woman who works in office courteous and even credited us a week when the garbage wasn’t picked up (we also were not charged extra the following week for have twice the garbage)\r -Picks up, without charge, extra bags or items within reason\r -Cans brought to side of the house or to the middle of the driveway if blocked\r \r Cons:\r -No online customer management system (excusable because of being a small business)\r -They do not offer recycling in every area\r \r I recommend their service to everyone. more

Watch out for this company they do not believe in customer service and the lady named beth is rude. They do not delivery on the promised services and I would recommend you find a different provider. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I signed up for service on 11 January 2013. I paid for an entire year of service. I was told I would have my can on Monday or Tuesday (14/15 January). My scheduled pick up day was Thursdays. I did not have a Rocky Mountain Can by Thursday (17 January). I had some items in a standard trash can by my garage, that the driver picked up and disposed of, problem is IT WAS NOT TRASH! Contacted the company when I got home from work and found the trash can on the curb (even though “Your trash can will ALWAYS be placed back by your garage”). They told me that since it was in a trash can, it was trash and they had no responsibility for the taking/loss of the items. I asked to speak to a supervisor about the issue and was told he would call me back. On 18 January, my wife contacted the company to find out what they were going to do about the improper taking of our property and was told, again, that since it was in a trash can outside, it is trash and that they had no liability in the matter. They also said that they did not want our business, and that they would be by to pick up their trash can (which was delivered Friday 18 January in the evening) and that a refund check for our payment would be sent out immediately. They also said to not contact them any further as that would constitute harassment. The trash can sat out on the curb until sometime on Tuesday. (23 January) before then got around to picking it up. I waited until 7 February 2013, contacted the company to get a status on the refund. I was told that it would take 4-6 weeks. I informed them that we were told the refund check would be sent out IMMEDIATELY. Again, got the “it takes 4-6 weeks to cut a check”. Fine, I waited. It is now the 6th of March 2013, 7 weeks since they cancelled service. I called to check the status of the refund check. They said the refund wasn’t requested until 7 Feb 2013. Now they want me to wait 4-6 weeks from THAT date to receive a refund! So I have been out over $200 for going on two monthes while they play the we will get to it game. Next I expect the “CHECKS IN THE MAIL” excuse. \r \r BBB Rating of F. My fault for not checking into them before I signed up.\r more

Just amazed of the bad service 1/27/2012

They could deliver another can for $25.00. This is terrible customer service. The took the can and wanted to charge me more money even though I was not late.\r \r They do not care.\r I am just amazed that they will pick up the can even though I was 2 months prepaid. more

STAY AWAY!! 9/30/2008

Do NOT sign up as a customer to this company!! I have been a customer for two and half years, and had been generally happy with the service--until this week. My trash was not picked up, so I called to report the problem. They told me my account had been cancelled, even though my check for 6 months of service had been cleared through my bank and deposited by them. Turned out they had deposited my check into someone else's account because they read the account number wrong that I had written on the check.\r I was asked to bring a copy of the check to the business office. I took off work early and drove 30 minutes to the office. With proof, they did correct the problem. \r \r However, as I was expressing my frustration with the lack of customer service I had received, the owner literally stormed out of his office and started yelling at me and blaming me (the customer) for the problem. Never in my life have I ever been treated so rudely. I still can not believe how he was yelling! As the owner no less!! I asked to cancel my account. When I then also asked if I might get a receipt to show I would receive my refund, the owner shoved his business card at me and told me if I didn't get a check to call the cops. The most ironic part of the story is on his business card is this tag line ""Commitment to Customer Service is Our Reputation!""\r \r I would never believe this if I hadn't experienced it. Unbelieveable! Trust me, spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere else for trash service. Pros: Pick-up service was fine Cons: Customer Service from owner was horrible more
