Do NOT sign up as a customer to this company!! I have been a customer for two and half years, and had been generally happy with the service--until this week. My trash was not picked up, so I called to report the problem. They told me my account had been cancelled, even though my check for 6 months of service had been cleared through my bank and deposited by them. Turned out they had deposited my check into someone else's account because they read the account number wrong that I had written on the check.\r I was asked to bring a copy of the check to the business office. I took off work early and drove 30 minutes to the office. With proof, they did correct the problem. \r \r However, as I was expressing my frustration with the lack of customer service I had received, the owner literally stormed out of his office and started yelling at me and blaming me (the customer) for the problem. Never in my life have I ever been treated so rudely. I still can not believe how he was yelling! As the owner no less!! I asked to cancel my account. When I then also asked if I might get a receipt to show I would receive my refund, the owner shoved his business card at me and told me if I didn't get a check to call the cops. The most ironic part of the story is on his business card is this tag line ""Commitment to Customer Service is Our Reputation!""\r \r I would never believe this if I hadn't experienced it.
