Sometimes you know you're in hot water and other times you know you're about to be without it. Allow me to explain; Three days before I called Rainaldi HS my wife and daughter reported to me that they each had taken cold showers that Friday morning. Immediately I went out into the garage and dutifully pressed the reset button on the water heater then congratulated myself on a job well done...until a little while later when I was informed that now the hot water was scalding and even the cold water side of the faucets were putting out significantly hot water. I knew this day would come, after all you can't expect a nearly 12 year old heater to last forever, especially when it was 6 years past its warranty and not properly cared for. What to do? Long story short: On early Monday morning I called RHS. (We had used them just last year to repair a different plumbing problem and we were pleased with their resolve.) Sherry (sp?) answered the phone. She was very nice, listened carefully to me explain our dilemma, and assured me that RHS could take care of the problem...that very day. Fast-forward - Field Supervisor, Billy D., arrived before noontime, assessed the situation, explained our options, did not pressure us, but once we made our decision he immediately started to work on removing the unit (in 95+ degree heat) while my wife and I went inside our AC cooled house for lunch (for which I felt badly). From the moment Billy arrived until he left (a short time later) he presented himself in a friendly, professional, and confident way. During my career I worked for over 15 years in the hardware/home improvement industry and learned the art and importance of knowing how to help and/or assist the customer. I learned from Billy that he himself has worked for this one company, RHS, for well over 2 decades. I can only wish for you and I that if we are in need of any of the many services which they provide (check their website for the list) that Billy will still be on the job. I wouldn't think twice about who to call...RHS!
