The name is Quality Custom Deck, and we did get a quality custom deck. However, the service is far from quality. We were originally given a start date (after my calling twice to find out) of 3/31 with completion in about 4 days. We just had the deck completed 4/18, after 3 weeks of work. During those three weeks, we were told people were going to be coming on the weekends, etc, and no one ever showed up. When it was near completion, no one showed up for six days (Saturday-Friday).... We were changing our schedule, keeping dogs in, keeping gates unlocked, and no one showed up or ever called that entire time. After finally getting someone out to complete the job, we had a remaining balance of about $1200 (on a $11,000 deck, the rest was financed), and asked if we could call it even to pay $1000 as the remaining due to all the inconveniences and long delay in completion. Never once did we hear an apology for our inconvenience, or even any acknowledgement that their communication was horrible. No one was willing to negotiate or give us any break of any type after having our yard torn up, and full of materials (and empty soda bottles, sweatshirts from the workers, etc) for 3 weeks. We talked to the owner and told him we would be forced to leave a bad review if they couldn't at least acknowledge the horrible service, and his only response was ""do what you have to do, Buddy"" in a very condescending tone and asked if we would have paid more if it was done early. Well, no, we would have paid what was owed to have it done in the 4 days to one week promised. Maybe even two weeks. But three!? With no one showing up or communicating for days at a time?! So, in short, the deck is great. The architect was fabulous, the workers were polite, but the management and running of the company is definitely not there for quality service. So, if you don't mind long delays, and little communication, and willing to wait that all out for a great deck, then we did get a great deck. But if you have any type of timeframe (we had guests, and the backyard was a mess!) or expect good communication and service, then you may want to go with a different company.\r
