Editorial review from Citysearch 10/6/2012

I went to them for disability and my attorney was GREAT!! He returned calls and met with me prior to the hearing and it was obvious he had done his research prior to the case. I did win but even if I had lost I don't believe it was because my atty was not prepared. I will say don't expect any touchy feely from them once the case is over. Not even a call to say congrats you won do you have any questions. Did not hear a word from them. I think that would be a good way to end a case but the main thing is they did their job and I won. Wouldn't hesitate to go back to them. As for people who complain and say they wouldn't take my case becuz there wasn't enough money in it for them well they are a business after all and if your case is going to involve many hours of work at the end of the day they have to make money to stay in business. more

Long on Talk, Short on Production 12/4/2011

Phillips Webster should change their names to Dewey, Cheatem & Howe. I had a clear case of liability for an injury sustained in a hospital and they agreed with me. They called me several times to get the same information that I sent them in a comprehensive email letter. It took several days for them to finally decide that there wasn't enough money in the claim to make it worth their while though that wasn't verbatim how they turned me down. I guess their catch phrase, ""Justice for You"" is crock of crap. When I told them how disappointed I was with their greed, they offered to refer my case to another attorney more oriented toward my type of case and said they would send me the name. That was 2 weeks ago. I guess I won't keep holding my breath on that one either. more

God is great and so is my attorney!! 8/23/2011

8/23/2011 I used Phillps Webster and Spencer Parr, Esq. for my disability case. Very friendly, very easy to talk to and discuss your issues with. While my case had been denied twice previously, prior to me coming PW. Mr Spencer Parr, Esq was able to get a settlement from the government, without a hearing, that will literally save my life. Thanks again!! Sincerely, Mike Woolsey more

;Disability social security 8/11/2011

we appreciated the work that spencer Parr did for us. He talked to us before we finished up the application for disability. Spencer and his team were there for us. They used e-mail which made it easier to communicate. They let us know what we needed to give them. They checked the paperwork that we sent to disability to see if we needed to reword anything. They sent in some of the paperwork when they were done checking it. They let Social Security know that they were our lawyers. If we had questions they answered them as soon as they could. They would even call us if they felt the need to do so. Because of the work they did my husband was able to get disability the first time. They were available for us most of the time. I would recommend Philips and Webster to any one who may need it. They will talk with you and then let you know if they can help. You just need to make sure that you do the work they ask you to do. smiles more

Totally impressed with the service. 7/25/2011

This has been a very uneasy time for me, not being able to work after 30 plus years and to be faced with the fact that my body has given out yet my mind is still ready to go to work everyday. \r \r When faced with the question if I would even qualify for Social Security Disability. We started checking around to find someone who would be able to answer the questions with accurate answers. We contacted Phillips Webster, they were on the ball, they made us feel so comfortable and to feel that we really had value. When you become disabiled you start to feel like you are less of a person. After we had our initial meeting with our attorney (Spencer Parr) we left feeling that our case was valid. Everytime that we had any questions or concerns we would make a call or stop by the office and we were always welcomed with open arms. When you walk in the door the first impression has always been friendly and helpful. \r \r We totally would recommend PW to anyone who may have legal questions or needing legal representation. \r \r Thank you again. more

Seeking debt relief and getting it! 6/17/2011

I recently lost my job and my home lost almost 50% of its value. I was in a panic about what to do and decided that it would be ok to at least find out what my options were. The people at PW were knowledgeable and polite and supportive. I literally feel that I have a new lease on life now by being able to exercise my constitutional right to seek substantial debt relief. People don't like to talk about this subject much but when push comes to shove, it is advisable that you get help from the pros. Phillips Webster is a reputable firm and can help you see daylight again. I highly recommend them! John more

Great Law Firm 6/8/2011

There is only one law firm I would recommend for legal help. I was in a motorcycle accident and needed knowledgeable and experienced attorneys who gave personal service to their clients and attention to all the details. Phillips Webster will spend all the time necessary so you understand your claim. more

Run, don't walk!!! 6/3/2011

If someone told me these were used car salesmen instead of a law firm I would have believed them. After asking the same question OVER AND OVER I still didn't have an answer about how much they were going to cost and instead got more and more high pressure salespeople coming in and wanting me to sign and give them money. Some free consultation. Then when I all but told them they suck and I would go home and look up their reviews they starting insulting me. Well guess what PW, you SUCK!!! I'm going back to the small attorney I talked to at first who was very helpful and not rude. more

Do Your Research First 5/24/2011

Glad we didn't go any further than the free consultation. What a waste of time...very pushy, rude and unprofessional. We called for help & information and they made us feel like a complete idiots. Wouldn't give us a fee quote, just kept asking when we could pay the retainer amount and wouldn't go any further than that. At a second conversation, we asked again what the fee would be and still no answer?....pretty shady if you ask me, not going to do business with a company that won't even quote a fee for their services. Clearly they're all about the money and probably charge way too much anyway. wouldn't of given them 1 star but that was the only way to post a review. more

Terrible Firm 5/6/2011

One star is too good for them! This firm never responded to calls, returned paperwork, couldn't find anything, had me come in to the office and then the person who called me in WOULD GO HOME BEFORE I GOT THERE, THEY SHOWED UP LATE TO OUR COURT CASE LEAVING ME SITTING IN THE ROOM WITH THE JUDGE AND THE OTHER SIDE ON MY OWN. What little settlement we got, they ended up with more than I did. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL VERY SURPRISED THEY DON'T HAVE BAR COMPLAINTS VERY SURPRISED THEY STILL CAN PRACTICE WHAT THEY CALL ""LAW"" DON'T SIGN ANYTHING AND RUN FROM THIS FIRM AS FAST YOU CAN! more

Maura Shipley at Phillips Webster 4/21/2011

Maura Shipley is a gem. As my legal aide contact there, Maura took care of my concerns every time I spoke with her, and in a very kind, compassionate, and friendly manner. Phillips Webster is a good company, and they facilitated my legal experience expertly. I give a very high recommendation to the company, and a standing ovation to Maura. more

Feedback for PW 3/13/2011

Working with PW was an interesting experience. My father-in-law (s-term memory issues) saw one of their ads on TV and low and behold, I had a PW associate sitting at my kitchen table signing papers and taking a down payment when I came home from work. Since this is what he wanted, acting as his PofA, I stepped in to facilitate his bankruptcy. Since this was a slam dunk bankruptcy case, hiring a paralegal for a 1/3rd the price would have been my advice if I knew this was his decision. Let's just say their advertising works :) \r \r With that said, Maura was my first contact with this company and was very prompt and courteous at her tasks. Keep in mind that this a large company with a lot of bankruptcy filings and you become a number. Maura passed along my documents to the next paralegal who was to process everything. If anyone in the company drop the ball, it was this person. The paperwork sat on her desk (digital desk) and it was me who had to jar the next step from Maura...who got the ball rolling again. In fact, this person neglected to process all the medical bills which were discovered at the meeting of the creditors......ouch! It would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for this step which caused a lot of heartache. Keep in mind that I did all the work. This was not a shoebox delivered. All of the companies with amounts, copies of bills, addresses were on a spreadsheet all documents were PDF and done. \r \r Jumping ahead, PW sent a young man (Bryan Kidder) who was outstanding. He made the necessary adjustments at the meeting, called his office, followed up with me afterwards, and PW added all the medical bills to the list at their own expense. \r \r I encountered many lawyers throughout the process with Bennett Taylor being the primary. Based on my email notes, four lawyers in all assisted me in this process. All emails were answered within a reasonable timeframe and a few requested I call, which I did, and the questions were answered. Bennet helped me get through a car deal that got a little complicated but we made it happen. \r \r The pre and post interview stuff with Greenpath can be a pain and time consuming but this is not anything PW can control. In fact, Maura kicked us in the butt to get it done! more

TO PW 3/11/2011

To P/W\r Maura is very professional at her task duties. Alot issues that I had questions about, she handled timely with great feedback, she never made a promise that she wasn't sure of. Scale of a true #10 in her profession. Maura resolved a banking issue for me on Wednsday, and let me tell u,I tried myself before asking Mauras help and received rudness, but on a confrence call, Maura took care of in seconds not minutes .. seconds. I was in a serious situation at the time. Also, regarding my employment issues due to filing bankruptcy, she attended that also and it was resolved. You guys have unique asset with her@ P/W. Thanks PW. Timothy Gooden\r \r more

Recommend Highly!! 3/11/2011

At first I was a bit skeptical at the free consultation because I never actually met with the lawyer or the legal team. But after paying my fees the process was very smooth. The lawyer answered every email I sent, even on the weekends! Maura who dealt with putting together my file was great! Very friendly and answered emails and phone calls promptly.\r \r If you do what they ask of you there are no communication break downs. I came to these guys after getting yanked around by another firm for a long time. more

Not the Best of the Best 3/3/2011

First i like to start off saying. My intnal visit felt like i was trying to purchase a new car or something. They should understand we are coming into the office already stressed and worried about our furture. Sitting alone in a room waiting on the next sales person. Less than professional ! Left more stressed. Call after call for an appointment i already kept and showed up to. Second visit. same thing just repeted . Finally gave deposit . Payments each month on time .\r After getting served by one of my creditors, i phoned and faxed the paper work over . To only get a reply back that was less than a willing ness to help. A cut and paste return attachment ! "" Best of Luck "" WTF.! 2nd email from the lawyer Told to get this paid off and lets get this thing going. I have done just that . Anna was so help when i phoned to make the final payment and gave direction on what i needed to do now. Call the finicial person at Green Path and get the first interview done. Which i did . Had to call and comfirm they recieved the certifiate of completeing it. Spoke with Marira ( What a JEWEL ) so helpful so understanding and when she said she would do something she did. My faith in people are strong again with the help for those two ladies. As for referring the firm onto a friend . Depends on the depth of the friendship. Or if i want to punish someone that has pissed me off and want them to sit around in a closed door office waiting on the next sale person to help. \r Thank you Anna and Marira for your wonderful respect of my feelings. more

Review for my legal assistant from Renton office. Maura S. 3/2/2011

My name is Ross Elison, My legal rep. is maura shippley (sorry for the bad spelling} She works out of the Renton office, and although she has been extremely busy, she has been TOTALLY helpful and has gone out of her way to help me. We are all going through this struggle together, so just make sure you LISTEN to their advice and everything will be fine in the end! Ross more

Excellent!--Affordable and Professional Law Firm 2/16/2011

I personally had a great experience with Phillips Webster. I had tons of creditors and over $50k in debt and they afforded me a free consultation with a legal assistant/attorney to figure out if I even qualified. I did, they worked with my personal finances via an affordable payment plan, and filed my case in a professional and timely matter. The only delays were caused by me not getting them necessary documentation, so get them what they need asap to prevent delays. I've already referred 2 co-workers. more
