The Price is Right 7/28/2008

We were seated quickly and our server was very attentive and polite. I had the vegetable dumpling soup, and it wasn't the best, although the ingredients were very fresh tasting. Someone else in our group got the ranch noodles, and those were delicious. Probably not the most authentic food, but if you're looking for a decent bite on your lunch break that doesn't cost too much, this place has my recomendation. Pros: Good Service, good price Cons: food could be better more

Great food and customer service. 11/25/2007

I am always happy when I choose to dine out at The Noodle Ranch. Everything I've ever ordered has been delicious. The servers are so friendly and attentive. To top it off, it is all well-priced. Two people can leave stuffed for $20. more

Large portions of amazing food at cheap prices 6/7/2007

The Noodle Ranch has been one of my favorite places to eat for years. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is consistently delicious. It was the first restaurant that I went to after moving back to Belltown. Try their yakisoba, green curry, or either of the noodle bowls. Pros: Great food, cheap prices, quick service Cons: Parking more

Geared more towards Americanized-asian food 1/4/2007

I was completely surprised when we had dinner there. I was expecting some fantastic food but was disappointed when it was not authentic. The noodle that I had was on the sweet side. For the price, I'd rather go to the International District. The decor looks hip but it doesn't cover up the pipes above. The service wasn't bad. Pros: Close to the needle and all the hustle and bustle Cons: Parking, mediocre food more

Pan-Asian Perfection! 7/29/2006

Cool, minimalist decor and fabulous food. There's a reason their menu hasn't changed since it opened...they got it right the first time! Pros: Great food and service! Cons: None. more

Really very good 4/17/2006

Having read some of the reviews on this site about the downright mean waitstaff, I kind of cringed when I went there with my friend and he, not seeing the Please Wait to Be Seated sign, immediately trundled off to grab a nice booth for the two of us. I followed along waiting for the axe to fall but, to my surprise, the waiter came up and smiled and welcomed us and swept away the two extra place settings. Service was friendly and prompt throughout the meal. The green curry was wonderful. Best I've had. I'll be back for sure. Pros: Great curry, Friendly staff, Good prices Cons: ??? more

Cheap Eats 10/31/2005

Surrounded by a number of quirky establishments this place looks pretty normal despite looking a little weird in the picture above. The food was alright, but not outstanding. Most importantly it did not feel authentic. Pros: cheap Cons: downtown parking, not authentic more

New Ownership: Not Good 8/7/2005

Ownership changed about a year ago and, unfortunately, some of the food has changed for the worse. Eating the pork in a couple of the pork dishes were like eating bland strips of leather (actually I can only imagine bland leather would taste like this). The management did not handle the complaint of the food very well and felt we just didn't want to pay the $26 food bill. Oh well, we won't be going back to Noodle Ranch. more

Some good, some bad 12/23/2004

This restaurant is preplexing. Some of the dishes are great, others are terrible. Stick with the pretty straightforward noodle dishes and don't get expiramental. The serivce is always good and the value is fair. There is just much better Thai/Vietnamese food in Seattle, that I am not inclined to go there. Pros: Wait more

For the beginners 9/16/2004

This place has got some of the worst ""asian"" cuisine around. I guess if I didn't know anything about asian cuisine, specifically Vietnamese food, I guess this place would be okay. Seeing how I am Vietnamese and enjoyed Asian cuisine all of my life, this place is horrible. The broth lacks depth and at best is equal to canned chicken broth. The entrees are bland and are tailored more for the western palate. Definitely not an authentic place. I guess having some people think taco bell is good mexican food too. These would be the same people whom enjoy the noodle ranch for asian cuisine. more

FABULOUS 6/11/2004

Every time I visit the Noodle Ranch, the staff is polite and welcoming, often times remembering my name. The food arrives in less than ten minutes and tastes like nothing I've ever had before- it is wonderful. I have spread the word about how great this place is to ALL of my co-workers, and they all frequent it now as well- and are OBSESSED. I do not understand how people could think poorly of this place. It is wonderful. It does get busy, though, because it IS so popular- but I have NEVER had a bad experience, and I've been there a milion times. Keep it up, guys, because you ROCK! Pros: fabulous food, great neighborhood, friendly staff more

Pretty good... 6/10/2004

I thought the place was quite tasty. The food was a little expensive when compared to the prices of some of the other oriental restaurants I've been too, but you aren't being ripped off by any means. As one reviewer put it ""I hate going to places like this, where non-asians try to cook asian food and charge double the prices."" I will concur that the price is a bit high, but come now, should I not expect to see a hamburger restaurant in China? I would recommend it if you're in the neighborhood. more

Sheesh, what happened? 3/25/2004

I will admit upfront that I've never been a huge fan of the Noodle Ranch, as the service has always been slow and the food rather hit or miss. But it's conveniently located and my friends like it, so I've been often enough. After my last visit, I will never go there again. Our food took nearly 45 minutes to appear (we were told there was new kitchen staff) and arrived lukewarm. The dishes we ordered were all bland and tasted ""off"". None of us were inspired to do much more than pick at what was brought out, it was so unappetizing. Ick. Go elsewhere. Cons: , Bland food more

Don't reward bad service 3/4/2004

I have dined here dozens of times, but never again after today! Today my co-worker and I were told (not politely asked) that a party of 2 could not sit at a 4-person table during the lunch hourbar seating only. There were 4 tables wide open and NO LINE! The employee was simply rude and unapologetic! Go elsewhere, since its hit or miss on the menu items anyway. Their peanut sauce noodle dish is too oily to eat. The Phad Thai is so bland it's not worthy of being called Phad Thai. There are a few items Ill miss in my boycott; the Spring Rolls, Mekong Grill, and Coconut Hot and Sour Soup are all consistently delicious. Pros: Location, Spring Rolls, Mekong Grill Bowl Cons: , uncomfortable seating, some very bland food more

Nice place 12/4/2003

Very simple. Food is good and portions are very large. Very good value. I really recommend to stop by if you are in the neighbourhood. Pros: Good food, Nice atmosphere, Good value more
