Wanted to take my father to Nagel's to get some ammo for his 380, I was able to walk in and find it, purchase it and walk out about a 10 minutes later. My Dad drives up about 200 ...

I guess I am what one would call an Avid Nagel's shopper. I am from Cotulla and I try to go to San Antonio at least twice a month. The best part of visiting San Antonio is going to Nagelss and dealing on pistols and guns. I am a retired educator and gun enthusiast. The customer service that I receive from Ron, Todd, Jessie and Dennis is great. I really appreciate their attentiveness and their salesmanship.\r more

Great place to shop. When I got back to San Antonio from the military this was the first place I went and will always go. Great staff, great selection and unlimited knowledge. Plus Mr. Nagel is one of the kindest men I have ever met. To say he cares about his customers is an understatement more

I have bought many guns there over the years and had a few repaired there also. You cannot not ask for better service or value for your dollar. more

  • The largest independent gun shop in san antonio Homer Nagel began customizing military rifles for hunting and shooting sports in his garage in 1942. With growing demand he and his son Robert H. Nagel established a retail store front and they began selling firearms, accessories and gunsmithing services. With strength, drive, and sacrifice the Nagel family transformed an idea in a garage to one of the largest family owned gun stores in Texas.
