Had a great first experience with Moe's Automotive. They diagnosed and replaced a blown turbo rapidly, expertly and at a reasonable price. They are friendly, helpful and know what they are talking about. I definitely will come back. more

Repairs there are always ups and downs - Mine was WAY UP 3/4/2011

The day before yesterday my 1996 Saab 900 burned up one of the wheels managing the serpentine belt. I limped the car home. I took another car to work and I called Moe at 8am and explained what was wrong and asked that he tow it to the shop and fix it. more

Kind and generous auto repair 12/1/2010

Moe has taken care of my 1986 Saab for more than 15 years. He came to my office when my car wouldn't start, cleaned the battery cables, and jump-started the car - no charge! I don't know how many times I've stopped by with small problems - needing air in my tires, power steering fluid, etc. - no charge! When the car couldn't pass the emissions test, he adjusted something so it would - no charge! Ordered replacement tires from Costco which took a long time - he sold me a tire to use while waiting, very low price. His prices are always very reasonable. I don't believe he dumps waste in the storm drain. Did you ask what he was dumping? It was probably water. more

Moe Dumps His Waste In The Storm Drain On The Corner!!!! 8/31/2010

Watched the owner or one of his workers dump a 5 gallon bucket of what looked to be radiator fluid into the storm drain on the corner in front of the business. Please do not give your business to someone who is set on killing our pets, puget sound, and wildlife in the area. This is just plain unacceptable! more

Moe's... What's the point? 5/28/2010

This is my first ever posted review of any business anywhere. I usually let things slide, but I cannot do that with Moe any longer. Bottom line: take your car somewhere else. I?ve taken my 9-3 to Moe since I bought it three years ago. The problem is that the majority of his attempted ?fixes? didn?t actually fix anything. Overall, I think he?s 2 for 6 for getting it right. He?s tried to fix an ABS sensor, leaky tail lights, a radio, and a rear window first with wood block bracing then a window regulator. For two of these failed fixes he?s refused a refund, for one he gave a refund, for the other I?m sure there?s no point asking. After this last job failed (twice ? first the bracing failed, then the regulator failed), Moe became irate when I asked for a refund, saying refund was not an option, he tried 3 times, he?s tired of wasting his time, etc. etc. All in, I?ve wasted at least $450 and hours of time dealing with Moe. Clearly I?m the one whose time?s been wasted. Like I said, go elsewhere. more

Great Saab mechanic 12/6/2009

I've been taking my Saab to Moe for over 3 years now and I believe he is the fairest and cheapest Saab mechanic in the greater Seattle area. I have called him a number of times with mechanical problems and he has always been helpful on the phone. When he knew what the problem was (like my O2 sensor) he quoted me a price over the phone stuck to it. In every case, he was significantly cheaper than the other major non-dealership Saab mechanics, and as for dealerships...we don't even need to go there! I would highly recommend Moe's to anyone with a Saab, especially older Saabs as he has been very helpful in tracking down parts. Pros: Quotes prices and sticks to them. Very reasonable. Cons: Could be a bit more centrally located more

RE: Not to be trusted 8/4/2009

In regards to your oil changes, there are a few things you have to consider. In almost 13 years, Moe's labor charge for oil change has not changed. It's been a flat 15 dollars. However, oil prices fluxuate a lot. Just over a year ago it was almost $5 a gallon and now it's back down to 2.50. Moe gets his oil from oil providers, which dictate the price of the oil. Furthermore, there are several different grades of oil. All with different prices. In regards to your brakes, It could have been a mistake on Moe's part, I'm sure it wasn't intentional. :) more

Not to be trusted... 3/25/2008

i had been taking my saab to moe's for about a year, having routine oil changes and a few preventative maintence repairs done over time. over the course of a year, my oil changes seemed to have changed in price every time i went there... ranging from 30$ to 40$. the last time i went there he charged me almost 50$ and seemed to have a lame excuse for the ridiculous price change...this rose red flags for me. moe then proceeded to tell me that i would need a new serpentine belt and both front and rear brakes. i decided to take my car to larry's automotive for these repairs. they informed me that i didn't need front or rear brakes, in fact that i still had over 70% in the front. larry's automotive was extremely fair and affordable....highly recommended, especially if you are a girl who does not know much about cars. take your car to moe's only if you really feel like getting hosed... more

Excellent service for your Saab 9/13/2007

I have been bringing my Saab's to Moes for over 10 years. I get excellent, fast, friendly service and always leave well informed of how to avoid any problems and I know that my car is fixed right . They go that extra mile to make sure my car is safe and running correctly. If I have any questions about my car I know I can call Moes and get an answer or drive in and get things checked. I have not had a problem with any service done at Moes in over 10 years on three different cars. Wonderful fair service and fair prices. Pros: Good Service, Plenty of Parking, Good bus zones Cons: Non really unless you like Ambience more
