As someone who has donated their hair to Locks of Love and Wigs for Kids for 4 years, I have gone through a number of pretty drastic transformations when it comes to my hair. In the last 4 years I have been to Urban Retreat, Beautique, Skoogies and Arena - none of which left me very interested in coming back for more. Depending on the establishment, I usually ended up with some combination of arrogance, indifference and pretentiousness, and always ended up with a style that was never quite what I had asked or hoped for. Nevertheless, I did what I went to do, it was for a great cause and hair grows back, right? So not really thinking about it (and half hoping I would just get a different stylist than my last visit), I attempted to make an appointment to get my very long hair whacked off at one of the aforementioned salons/spas. Funny enough, I couldn't help but hear the sneer in this woman's voice and remembered reading a few complaints about how unhelpful others had found them to be and decided to tell her I would call back. Well, let me just say that the attitude of this lady was a blessing in disguise or I would not have begun browsing Citysearch and I certainly would not have found Eduardo. Not only did he give me the best cut of my life (no joke), he was down-to-earth, friendly, open, honest and wow - what a concept - HE ACTUALLY LISTENED. I am also confident that had I not had a preconceived notion with regard to a style, I could have told this man to make me look fabulous and have no doubt that he would have. This man is a genius and I am so glad to have found this gem of a salon. I have received more compliments on my hair than ever before with several friends and co-workers already planning their own visit. Now my only problem is my fear that after having found someone so incredible that he will get swept off to even bigger and better things and I will be left here crying!!! Thank you Marbella and Eduardo!!!
Pros: Everything
Cons: None that I experienced
