K&M Steam Cleaning

I was supposed to have my entire house done for $129 and was charged $189. I noticed the price quote difference so I called and talked to the owner. The MOST arrogant and rude man I have ever spoken to! I asked him why they charged me extra for 2 small 4x6, simple, cotton rugs that were lay-ed over over my carpet and tile when I did not even get the carpet, a 16x16 room and the tile room cleaned. He said in a LOUD, RUDE, voice, "Because it's my company and I set the prices for rugs!". I have never had an owner of a business speak to me this way. He was so rude that he made me start crying which he could not understand.All I wanted was a simple answer to a question. I was not upset, angry nor did I raise my voice when I spoke to him. He did not offer any sort of remorse, apology or anything. And, I noticed that several other reviewers had the same thing to say about him. Yesterday I had my carpets cleaned by K&M Steam Cleaning - they look sooo great! I moved in here 6 years ago to brand new carpets but with a dog and 6 years worth of traffic they were looking... well gross. Armando and Johnny from K&M came out to take care of the problem and boy did they. Not only were they polite and courteous but they worked so hard. I had no idea it was so much work to get carpets clean. Armando is very detailed and truly wanted to make sure that my carpet looked as good as it possibly could. Now my carpets are clean and bright - all pet stains/smells are gone. I don't even want to let my dog on the carpets now. My stairs - which were the worst now look almost brand new. Oh, and I should mention it was raining when they came but they were very careful not to track any mud into the house - so nice! more

Manny and victor just did my carpets. It was quick and absolutely perfect. The pet stains were gone before they even started with just the application of enzyme. I\'ve never had carpets this clean,fresh smelling and at an amazing price. Stanley steamer was going to do two rooms and a hallway for over 200 dollars. K&M did my entire house, 4 rooms and a hallway with pet stain treatment for $150 bucks all said and done. I highly recommend them. more

After reading all the great reviews for K and M, I called to ask if they service the Manor area. They do-if you're willing to pay an extra 130 for 3 bedrooms. I'm sure they're a great company and they probably do great work, but that is an outrageous extra expense to drive to Manor. Does anyone know of a good carpet cleaning company that does drive to Manor without robbing you blind? more

Am disabled and Jesse helped me tremdously by taking time to explain the procedure to me about installing the repair, took pictures, before and after since I am unable to ambulate to see for myself. In future visits I want these two guys to come out again. more

I have used K&M twice now to have my carpets cleaned annually. Both times they have provided outstanding service. Their are timely to their appointments (arriving in the first 15-30 mins of the time frame they provide). The technicians came to my house have been extremely friendly & thorough. more

I have used K&M about 3 times now and I have been extremely happy with the results. We only have carpet in 1 room of our house, our media room, which is also the one room of the house that my husband, 2 dogs and I hang out in the most. I had some gnarrly pet stains from the dogs tracking in and out of the room and my bulldog laying in her favorite spot next to the sofa. When I called K&M to come out and clean, I highlighted to the receptionist about the pet stains (and was anticipating an upcharge!), but was pleasantly surprised at how she said that the simple Pre-Treatment would easily be able to take care of it and that there was no need to do a pet deodorizer treatment. She was right! In just 30 minutes, the techs had my light colored, long hair (almost shag!) carpet looking brand new! And smelling fanastic! I highly recommended K&M to everyone (and I do!). They may not be the cheapest in town, but they are definately the BEST quality and service! more

Wish I could put 0 stars. We had K&M Steam Cleaners come to clean our carpet and recliners. I really wish we'd gone with someone else. If you have bur bur do not call these guys. They do not know how to take the extra time needed to properly remove dirt and stains from bur bur carpet. I also wasn't happy that they treated the entire carpet with chemicals first. I can see using chemicals in small areas for tough stains, but I have kids and I'd rather not have chemicals all over my carpet. That's not the type of cleaning that I would expect from a steam cleaning carpet company. One of the reps mentioned that some of their trucks only have a 10 gallon water heater in them. This is much less than other companies and doesn't provide the steam needed for proper cleaning. As soon as the steam's gone, your just getting room or ground temperature tap water. The carpet looked cleaner when they left than when they arrived. However, within an hour, without any walking on the carpet, the stains and darker areas in the high traffic areas came back. We called them back and they cleaned it again. The second time it was the same thing, although this time I noticed the stains before they even left. They didn't do any extra cleaning in the high traffic areas. They came back a third time and did what they could, but our high traffic areas still looked bad. We finally saw a noticeable difference and real cleaning on our carpet when we had another company come. There was a huge difference between the cleaning from K&M and the other company. I'll never deal with these guys again. more

Rey & Manny were fantastic! Both were extremely nice & professional. My carpets were in horrible shape & I told them that I didn't expect too much. However, they were able to get out almost every stain and make my 10 year old carpets look like new...I couldn't be happier. Thank you! more

K&M advertised that they have ?No hidden charges?. I called and received a quote for steam cleaning and pet deodorizing and was quoted $90. When the cleaners arrived they told me that it was an extra $70 to pet deodorize! I immediately called and asked for the individual who quoted me something different. Unfortunately she was not available. I complained about the ?No hidden charges? and the upcharge for the pet deodorizer. I ended up speaking to the owner, Ken Moncebiaz, who told me that they do not make mistakes. I explained that I would pay them for the work (as they were already working) but I would never use them again and that I will report it to the BBB. K&M called their carpet cleaners out in the middle of the work! I called K&M back and told him that I will pay for the work-Ken told me that ?My dollar?s not that important to him!? more

Mario and Victor were very professional. They moved more furniture than I expected, and they worked hard to get the carpet as dry as possible. After I checked the carpet, Mario raked it again, so it looked beautiful. It dried nicely! Thanks K&M Steam Cleaning! more

K&M has always come through for me and done a fabulous job! Johnny and Victor did the carpets at my last rental place and the carpets looked like new. They were very informative and knowledgable about what they do. I will only use Johnny as the the Crew chief to do my carpets in the future. K&M goes out of their way to accommodate your schedule.
